Got a 90 2 door Pathy, any point getting a wrecked 88 2 door? Thinking of doors, windows, interior parts for spares? Will they swap in or are they different? New to Pathfinders.... Thanks....

The interiors are the exact same basic set up. Trim levels might have different interior pieces in detail, so make sure that if the obvious stuff is gonna be swapped out, that it's the same trim level for the matching part, ex: XE, SE, LE

If both are 2dr then everything should swap, besides maybe a few engine parts since the 90 should be MPI rather than TBI.

If the 90 is 4dr and you made a typo (most 90s are 4 dr) than everything from the B pillar forward will swap body wise, along with tailgate/hatch, bumper and tire carrier. Most of the interior aside from the side panels on the 88/rear door panels 90 would be the same.

I had no idea they made a 1990 2door

They were more just the dregs of the 89 production, but with their build date they were classified as 90s. I think the factories threw togeter whatever they still had from the 89 run just to get rid of the 2dr bodies.
