PDCCD
Anyone know where Marcell got the "rock washers" he started shipping with his skids? After last weekends trip it appears i've lost two of the smaller ones. I've got spares of the others, but not of the small ones, and after i extract the two bolts, i'd like to re install with Rock washers if i can find them. Here's some mud porn from the trip to help stimulate your brains... or whatever LOL.

I totally agree, there must be some company pumping these out for some un-related intent. I doubt Marcel was making them. Hopefully your right, someone will see them and go, oh those, no you dingbats, those are thingamajigs for bulldozers...

HitTheTrails
http://www.mcmaster.com/ Catalog page 3169 Good find GG. Those look right. "Cup Washers with Flange" under the Finishing washer category. I guess Pezzy was on the right track... MY1PATH
I don't think those will protect the bolt head. Finishing washers are designed for a countersunk screw to nest into them. what you are looking for needs to have a flat bottom in the center for your bolt head to tuck into. PDCCD
Horseapples! Have lathe! Can rock washer... B I'm amazed he is the supplier. To mass produce these things (they're stamped not machined) takes some SERIOUS specialized tooling. they've got to be 3/16 thick. He must have some shop. I'd love to know what his main business is. Kinda hard to tell from the picture. So that's weird, Marcel has some special hook-up for these things??? They look like something you could just buy... PS. I've already lost one of mine on the trail...

Ahh, well, not my specialty but Marcel is a sheet metal guy, I'd be amazed if he didn't know people in the stamping/press business. Wouldn't be suprised if he had a lot run by a buddy for a set of skids or something like that. I'd have to see them, but it may be something that can be formed on a smaller press 20 ton or so. The dies wouldn't be complicated. Personally, I'd have a buddy of mine CNC machine them out of mild steel, cheap!! B
