libd
My 2005 Pathfinder has begun to shake really bad when I hit 40 mph. The strange part is that the shaking stops if I take my foot off of the gas pedal so I don't think that it is a tire issue. Has anybody else had this problem? laxman0324
My old accord did the same thing, it was the tire balance. Whens the last time you had them balanced?
BowTied
how many miles? I bet u-joints.
jb77
Have the dealer check the front propeller shaft and u-joints. I have an 05 w/ 42k miles and I just had these replaced under warranty.
jb77
45k miles and rear drive shaft just replaced. No noticable shake only a squeaking noise from under the truck. I'm glad I opted for the extended warranty.
Alkorahil
Sounds like wheel balance, bent wheel or alignment or a combination of the three. Does it do this only when accelerating? Does it more or less go away around 60 mph?

They're really bad for u-joints. probably front and rear need replacing.

I have this same issue, and that is actually why I am here trying to see if I could resolve on my own. I have 40k on my truck. Did you get the problem fixed? Was it u joints? I had my wheels balanced so thats not it. would this be covered under the drive train warranty? JP
