05 Pathfinder Shaking when accelerating...

My 2005 Pathfinder has begun to shake really bad when I hit 40 mph.

The strange part is that the shaking stops if I take my foot off of the gas pedal so I don't think that it is a tire issue.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Sounds like wheel balance, bent wheel or alignment or a combination of the three.

Does it do this only when accelerating? Does it more or less go away around 60 mph?

They're really bad for u-joints. probably front and rear need replacing.

I have this same issue, and that is actually why I am here trying to see if I could resolve on my own. I have 40k on my truck. Did you get the problem fixed? Was it u joints? I had my wheels balanced so thats not it. would this be covered under the drive train warranty?
