Opinions on rims

Here's the rims. They're on an 85 4Runner, which should be 6 x 5.5 and since they're aftermarket the center bore should be ok. Dunno if the're 7" or 8" wide or what the backspacing is, but I've seen that style on old Ford trucks and on a CJ-5 and thought they looked good. Mine are getting rusty and I'm still sort of on the fence about this style, but if the price is right...

 

Anyway lemmie know what y'all think.

Retro man, 70s era. I like em, there were a couple styles like that made back then you can't find new anymore.

Used to see those a lot on red neck moded Ford pickups in the late '70's, they don't look any better on the PF imo.

They're either 70s/80s factory optional "Rally" wheels from a GM truck or aftermarket reproductions of such.

I was thinking about powdercoating them black and grinding it off the shiny bits. Either way the guy wanted too much for them since he didn't want to separate them from the tires.

 

BTW, the General Lee's rims had less spokes, kinda like an older looking version of the Buick Grand National's.
