I have a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe and I bought a 87 pathfinder a few months ago. I barely ever drive the G35 anymore. I love the Pathfinder, just so fun to drive. I think from now on I will always have an SUV, hopefully another "classic" Pathfinder.

Which is not articulation. Articulation is the flex in the suspension.

Ok I concede,

Great thing about being on a forum. you don't have to face everyone when you say something stupid.

all though not articulation related, last I checked lockers and SAS (articulation related) was not an option (without incredible pain) on an R50.

I Have not crawled underneath a R50 yet so I don't know for sure what exactly is an option or not. Just going by what I read.

HA...I WIN!!! Just kidding man.

Lockers are an option, however, only ARB air lockers. There are no mechanical lockers.

A SAS is an option, however, there are no kits, and it hasn't been "figured out" yet. The issue is the rack and pinion steering. IT's not a stopping point, but it's a major hurdle.

Just remember when all is done. the point I was making is that the R50 is just as capable. I just like my WD21 better. (mainly cause I don't own a r50) I would never SAS Mine. If I wanted SAS I would by a hummer (H1 ofcourse the newer ones are crap)

I'll always try if i can to have another pathy, even if it stretches my wallet. Just the good times associated with them is enough for me to buy another one.

I agree with you, except on the SAS part. If I had the money, and a different vehicle to drive daily, I'd be all over it.

I might agree to the SAS But I would have to test drive one to see how it feels. I like the way mine feels suspension wise. I fear that SAS would totally change the way it steers and the way it corners. I have a daily driver, so that is not my worry. I just think at that point that it would no longer be a pathfinder in my eyes.

I can agree with that to some extent. It'd be sweet to have a Patrol front axle under there, and at least, keep it all Nissan.

It'd handle differently, and drive differently, but if it was just a wheeling rig, I'd do it for sure, money allowing, of course!

Would definitely would want to keep it all Nissan. But then I would have to get rid of my rear springs. However mine were never actually installed on a jeep.. So they are just new springs. does not matter what they were made for , They just happen to fit. Imagine that.

Besides what would I call it A pathjeep or a pathota.. No way!

I had an 88 pathy and I sold it a year ago That was not the smartest thing for me to do I wish I had it back, luckily one of my best friends bought it so it is never far away. I have now an 03 pathy when I bought it I was actually looking for a truck, but walking through the Nissan dealership I noticed this little white vixen just sitting there tempting me. needless to say I could not resist her so I drove her home later that day. I will always have a pathfinder I am actually looking at getting another 88 they are so damn fun, My R50 can go anywhere that my wd21 went. I would just like to get another wd21.

I have actually owned 4 patrols all ranging from 1964- 1969 Now that is a Nissan I wish I really wish I had never gotten rid of oh to be young and stupid it was also my first car.
