Funny, considering nothing after 96 came with the 3.0. And for $3300? Owie. You could buy two Pathys for that.

The only one I ever drove ( a former girlfriend's sister's 89) needed all the PS it could get. Even with the PS it was a dog on turns. I had a R&P non-power assist BMW 320i at the time that was easier to manuver.

That's actually not in a Z31. That's in an S12 - the Nissan 200SX from the mid 80's, which has even less room in the engine bay than a Z31. It came equipped with the VG30E only in the U.S. market and only in '87 and '88. If you'd like a little more info, here are the guy's posts about it on club-s12.org - Clicky
