Rear Carpeting

Hi -

The dog (when he was a puppy) chewed the rear carpeting where it meets the seats on my 1995 Pathy. Does anyone know how to go about replacing this, or where to buy the carpet?

Thanks

According to the Nissan parts catalog, the carpet is only available as one piece that covers the load floor and the backs of the seats. Nissanparts.cc has the one for my 93 (yours may be slightly different, not sure) for $172.22 - quite reasonable for something like that from Nissan.

The aftermarket version (made by Auto Custom Carpets and widely available), if you don't want to spend that much, is about $120 or so:

The drawback is that the aftermarket carpeting quite often doesn't match the original color as closely as the Nissan stuff does, and it's often thinner and less durable.

Thanks for that fast reply!

How did you find that part on nissanparts.cc?? I can't seem to find the place to select a 1995 Pathfinder.

You have to have the Nissan parts catalog to generate the part number.

Give me your VIN (in private if you wish) and I'll give you your part number.

I appreciate the offer, but I kinda like the grey stuff in it now. It's a really low loop pile so its easy to clean things like bits of mulch out of it. I would be interested in the drivers side wheel hump carpet if you want to drop it in the mail, though. Mine's all boogered up.

Haha too bad you live in Florida, cuz I tore the carpet out of the cargo area in my '95 and replaced it with spray on truck bed liner, so i still have the whole piece of carpet for the rear in storage, I'd gladly let you have it.
