NismoSkyZ
I wonder if that torque peak is due to the torque converter effect on the dyno....Any guesses on how long the tranny will last with one of those and a cooler? The first time I saw the title of this post I was thinking "oh sweet!" Then I remembered I have a clutch.

MichiganAve
Hmm, gotta ask Jane and Alpine if they are going to do CARB. If so, I might be in.
MichiganAve
Hmm, gotta ask Jane and Alpine if they are going to do CARB. If so, I might be in. Alpine said no to CARB. Mike at AC said: "Thank you for your interest in our products. The SC is not considered street legal and is not specific to CA area so not CARB approval has been available." vengeful
Do...whaaaaat? I wonder if that would cause me to fail VA Emissions?
MichiganAve
Do...whaaaaat? I wonder if that would cause me to fail VA Emissions? Alpine thought it could pass the sniffer part of smog testing (with proper tuning of course). But I don't know what the visual inspection rules are in VA. No chance to pass here in Cali... I think I've been spoiled by investigating forced induction options for miata's lately where there are multiple well-supported options that are essentially turn-key with little tinkering and tuning needed. I wouldn't want to end up going through what insanium deal with a while back when he supercharged his 3.3L QX4 and had horrible tuning problems.
