NICE! A good modification. I got the bored part down so all I need now is the welder and training on how to use it. Hmm, I might be too dangerous with a welder and a little knowledge.

meh, since I couldn't put down a good bead i just put like 9-10 little welds on each side, and one big one on the front and back. I need to practice welding sideways lol.

Well, if you try to support the weight of the truck on a boulder with one of them, then yes, they are weak. Otherwise, they're sufficiently strong.
