I found one for sale on Craigslist for a '90 Truck or Pathy and since I have a '95 I thought it might be better than the Chilton or Haynes (They are merged now ?)

 

What say you guys ? Is this a good idea ? He only wants $10...

you can get a 'real' 95 manual online for free. It's the same as the printed version thought he 95 manual was really a 94 manual with a 95 suppliment.

if you were to print it, it would probably cost you more then $10.. not a bad deal.

Although I do like the PDF versions I still always prefer to have a hard copy availible to me... they easier to deal with out in the garage when your in the thick of things

Paper is cheap and black ink for a printer isn't that much. Print one section at a time until you have them all done.

Well, I'm willing to have it printed out IF there are significant differences between the '90 and '95 versions....

 

What is the answer to that ?

There are differences, mostly dash design and electrical.

I have both the books for 95 and the online versions. I prefer to use the online and only print out the things I need. Especially when a procedure calls for referencing another procedure somewhere elsde in the book. No need to print the whole thing out. There are lots and lots of pages that I have never even looked at and I do a lot of work on my truck.

I agree, soft copy is better. Doesn't get lost, greasy or torn. Easier to search, zoom and open more than one page at a time. Just a few things to consider.
