94extreme
not hard, just undo the fill hole first just in case it's a stubborn one. then undo the one to dump. refill with either ATF or GL, depending on the year of your rig.
yar1
where are the fill holes and dump holes? i dont have the service manual, will it be in the owners manual?
nissandoms47
drain hole in on the front side of the tcase, just look straight at it and you'll see it. fill hole is on the opposite side. its not that hard to see just gotta get under there. you need a 1/2" breaker bar. dont use an impact. 96SE
Make sure you can get the new fluid in the fill hole. I was going to do mine the other day and I ended up needing some tubing/syringe. There isn't enough room to tip a bottle up under there.
88pathoffroad
You can get a screw-on cap with a pump in it or yeah, just stick some tubing onto the tip of the bottle if you can get the tall-boy style with the pointy cap. Otherwise the pump is the easiest, but slowest option. It takes a while to pump thick gear oil out of those quart-size bottles.
