arctic_mark
Has this forum ever suffered hacking problems? My local 4x4 club (Northern Alberta 4WD Assoc.) forum is also powered by Invasion Power Board and has recently been hacked by some basement-living jerk calling him self "Hacker-Nitition". :furious: Seems he targets Invasion Power Board forums, taking over the moderators names, posting pictures, and re-naming all the topic headings to "Hacked by Hacker-Nitition". The actual content and posts don't seem to be lost though. pssd Just wondered if NPORA had been hacked by this dink and if you had found ways to proof the system. If not, this is a heads-up as he does attack Invasion Power Board systems. Mark
Trainman
Yes, we have been hacked. Look through some of the posts and you can get more info. Good luck on yours, 88 is on the ball here keeping the impact to a minimum.

Pezzy
Yeah, we're getting hacked, but not like that... we just have some jackasses implanting some trojan viruses... So I guess what we've learned here is that IPB sucks??

Jdpathy
Has anyone else noticed that we have like 20 of these topics out.
88pathoffroad
There are updates available for the freebie version, search on Invisionize.com's website. I'd install them myself on THIS forum if I had FTP access.
RedPath88
Right, I have been researcing them lately... ... I guess what I really meant was it does not get the full support that the newer pay versions do. Just a poor choice of wording
