RedPath88
On some I have found that it is a bit decieving.. some require a lot more effort turning the key to get the lock to pop. When I first got mine I was almost afraid of breaking the key... so I made the guy at the car lot do it.. to prove that it worked before I would try it again. *Besides, if he broke it prior to the sale then they would have to fix it Edited September 17, 2006 by RedPath88
unccpathfinder
hmm mine is the other way around...i can open the glass but not the lock for the hatch...so i have to open the glass and reach in ( i have the back panel off) and manually push the lock down to get the door to open u might want to have a look at your lock mechanisms they might be outta wack and i donno if u can adjust them.... mws
In case you were asking the really simple question: Turn key to left to open hatch. Turn key to right to open window.
Precise1
LMAO Yes, exactly... There may be a button on the front slope of the console that releases is also, if it works correctly... Both of my SE's have a switch.... My XE (Manual everything) you have to use the key My XE (power everything) has the switch. There was a lot of mix and match between trim levels simon7.
