turbopath
So, if I disconnect my sway bars will I be able to keep more meat on the ground? With a factory ride on 31's I can crawl up most rocks, but soon find myself with two wheels off the ground and the rig teetering. haha. I really don't want to buy a lift just yet... 88VTpathy
Yes, but your road cornering is gonna be equal to a pile of jell-o. (I'm putting mine back till I get a lift.) Also My 31x10.5x15's rub pretty bad and am starting to tear into the front one's. But all in all you will get more flex.
tmorgan4
In the front, yes. Noticeable difference in flex (although you still won't get much) and much poorer handling on-road. The rear probably won't add much of any flex since the shocks top out before the sway bar interferes. With no sway bar in the rear and longer shocks it will come out like this... This "special" setup will be for sale by the end of August.

turbopath
has anyone tried using quick disconnects?
RedPath88
They make them for Yota's but I don't think anyone makes them for Pathy's... not to say that one could not make their own. (Though space "might" be an issue in the front )
turbopath
http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/i...cca6caaade3294d there's the R50 rear quickies. A front one would be nice.
vengeful
Waste of money. They clunk a lot and make tons of noise. And they're not really any easier than just unbolting one of the links.
tmorgan4
Rear disconnects aren't supposed to work sell since the sway bar contacts the axle even if its disconnected. Not sure about the fronts.
max_stryker
unless all your bolts are seixed in which case just take a sawzall to it....
