yea go with uniden.. ihad the cobra but it like caught fire and @!*% in my car! i had to quickly cut it off and throw it outta my car! i replaced it witht the uniden and i like it much more!

yea i half assed tho..so who knows.. i just may have to put some beta's in there

ok i did it my own way... i cut a hole in the corner and placed the blinker in it! works fine!

i heard that if you want to put your signals in your corner lights you can take the positive wire to the blinker and splice it into the negative wire on the corner.. does this really work? has anyone tired it?

so img onna make my own bumper sometime this weekend or so but i have some problems.. the intake box yea i can rip that out but theres the air temp. sensor i took it off and my check engine light came on, do i need it? is it bad if i dont have it? andi dont want that hole that goes straight to the filter so im gonna use a stock 4runner box i believe. its more enclosed Another question is the washer fluid resorvoir.. its huge! any suggestions on a smaller one i may be able to mount in my engine bay somewhere?

no you dont have to remove the spirng.. it just goes on top of the strut mount (the 3 bolts thing)

im plannin on makin some outta plexiglass or somethin... easier to cut

this was fun.. even though it swamped my car... i have a couple inches of water on the inside it was nasty

do these bolt to the factory nerf bar mounts?? cuz i kinda put a hole in mine and bent every mount on the passenger side.. if they hook up a different way im gettin some!

i got stuck today as well! i thought id put my new 33s to good use in a mud hole... couldnt quite make it and swamped my cab once i got out and opened my door the water just came pouring out.. ill post some pics tomorrow or somethin

it was my first investment! so much fun!

wiring is easy! just run a power wire from your battery or good power source to you switch, then and a power and and ground wire to your lights... you can solder all the postives together and all the negative together... but be sure to ground the negative.. i ran my wires from my center console to the back (behing all the side panels and junk) out the trunk, then i took off my racks and ran the wires under those to the front, connected all the wires and bam! they worked! if you have any questuions let me know... i dont know if what i said makes sense

oh im sure you can make 32s fit.. it may require more tirimming out of the plasic liner in the wheel wells and a bit on the fender... but i didnt care... ill do whatever it takes for bigger tires! and yea ill be swingin by some tire place seein if they have any used cheap 33s i cant afford a new one now! Tmorgan i have the AC lift coils

yea its kinda embarrassing how meany heads turn when they har that ugly sound... i have the same problem on my 96 with my 33s.. i finallu cut enough junk off they clear everything but a brake line cover in the font... ill be fabbing a new one up come monday
