  1. can't blame Bush for the gas prices. Blame the wall street slimebags who are running up the bidding on crude oil futures.
  2. second part of that story... When I showed my accord to sell it, it started and ran fine. The guy bought it and drove off. I forgot to tell him about the antitheft system I installed and the button was hidden up under the dash. He decided to stop a the store on the way home and he couldn't get it started again. I laughed my butt off when he called a couple days later and tole me he had to get it towed to the dealer and it took them a couple days to find out what I did.
  3. I put one on my elec fuel pump and put the switch in the glove box. Worked wonders. The one in my honda (before I sold it) had a momentary on and a solenoid. To start it, you had to push the momentary on button to get her going. Then I ran my solenoid (open under power) off the oil pressure idiot light. The fuel pump was on only when there was oil pressure. If you turned the car off, you could not start it without finding and pushing the button. I did this because a friend had a kill switch and his car was stolen ont he one night he forgot to flip the switch open when he got out.
  4. like my kilowatt heater I used to run on mine.

  7. oh quit yer bellyaching. Better dubya than herman munster in office. Sometimes, you have to select the less of two evils.
  8. cut the controversy... get one of these... they're easy to install but a bitch to disarm
  9. the 10th digit of your VIN will tell you the model year. S=95, R=94. There are definately variations per country and possibly even variations depending on which plant the pathy was built in.
  10. ... getting out a razor to trim mine...
  11. you're only about a grand of posts behind

    MUZIK@!

Blue Man Group percussion percussion percussion... nothing like it when you're makin' tracks
  13. my mistake. sorry to insult your pathy
  14. I would suggest shocks if yours are worn. Normally, the 3.3 isn't starved for air so I think you'd get better bang for the buck addressing the suspension.
  15. and I think it would be cool to have both Jim and Aarons trucks together... with a tightrope between them and Pezzy in her clown shoes on top.
  16. I'd be careful with the "free membership" vs information freely available. If you recall, membership actually has a price now.
  17. prying the lead away from the electrode with a screwdriver = bad using a gapping tool that grasps and bends th lead without touching the electrode = good
  18. I hate when people put advertisements on my truck... but... if we are gonna do it, I suggest the business card approach. vistaprint has a freebie offer right now.
  19. Now that many of us are getting stickers, I was wondering how that would impact the membership here. I know that I found the NPORA while I was doing a search for radio wiring information when I bought my CD player and needed to tap into the existing harness. So, how did you folks come to be NPORA folks?
  20. I cut my fuel usage by nearly 40% by shifting my work time. I now no longer sit in traffic and burn gas for an hour. 15 minutes and I'm here. I plan to keep the pathy and offset the price of gas this winter by charging to pull carollas and such out fo the snow.
  21. Mine's on but no pic yet. blue masking tape (easy release) works great for alignment purposes.
