  1. LOL. I thought LEARNING ju-jitsu was to STOP getting yer a$$ kicked??? LMAO. Anyhoo... LOL.. no.. I have some wicked cool ideas for my truck.. but have to figure out what will work/be versatile. I started painting the frame today.... couple days it should be done. PHEW! looking good now! yeah, I prefer short beds. Always wanted one.. now I got one.. hehehe...time to go to town! :cool2:

  3. Sorry Pezzy, I think I am gunna hold out for my fave color, teal green..... but, we'll see.. it will be green..that's a definite!! LOL. OK peeps... UPDATE: here are the plans for my bed design. (I am NOOOO architect kinda deally bobber) http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/pathy4x4/det...5c2.jpg&.src=ph The neck of the fuel cell will have a custom clip down cover over it so it doesn't get damaged in the bed. The actual cell will be under the sheet of diamondplate.. and 88.. b 4 you say I am psycho and will waste $$ BUYING DP... I have a buddy who owns a company and he gets it and gives it away FREE all the time . OK. the tool box will be your standard husky tool box, bolted to the diamond plate floor. The retractable light bar on the rear will encase all the std lights you need to have for street driving, but for off road there will be a switch that flips it up toward the "bed" (as if you were raising your tailgate) so they do not get damaged wheeling..... whatcha think??? Do I have too much time on my hands??? BTW. Frame painting will begin when rain ends it's prepped, sanded, washed n ready to paint... -thnkboutit-
  4. I would have soooooooooooooooooo bid on that if I wasn't on the opposite coast!!!!!! Just the steps alone are $150! daaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum! :furious:
  5. Well.. I am FEMALE.. but everyone says MAN (slang) so I guess I won't be offended. YES!!!!!!!! You win the PRIZE!! I put my old Pathy rims on the trailer!!!!!! You were the first to notice!! LOL Well.. I decided to hold out for my favorite dream color of teal green for the truck. I (if the rain stops) will be painting the frame Sun or Mon after final preps on the metal work. I need to have my bf's bro weld a spot b 4 I paint. It will be wicked cool when it's done.....about a year from now.. LOL..but my Pathy will ALWAYS be #1 in my stable. -bounce- I have been tossing around the idea of a 4 link suspension on the rear for the truck too.....
  6. Here is the album for my progress with the "Big Ugly" (#2 actually). I have got quite a bit done, but not b 4 the Chevy BIT my Pathy while towing it out front!!! Bite mark pics in album...BAD Chebby.. BAAAAAAAAAAAD...... Today I pulled the last of the remaining useless "gadgets" off so now some gunk, sand paper and another blast with the pressure washer is due b 4 painting. -bounce- http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/pathy4x4/alb...ren%3as,5%3af,0
  7. as 88 said, and check for any wires/plugs/etc that could have worked loose..hope all works out!
  8. Mine installed relatively easily after cutting the pigtail as 88 had done in his write up. I put the "tighter end" of coils on the top, and used the stock rubber on top of the coil. I added rancho 5000 series shock PN 5116. I gained 3 + inches from these coils. -bounce-
  9. poor doe!! that's such a waste
  10. He!!...if it hasn't been covered... pics and how-to would be great!
  11. Ahhhh... *tear* the love of a Pathy is unconditional.. they ask so little.... run sick, tired, and with cheap a$$ gas..... what "parent" could ask for more? Praise the car gods for the Pathfinder!!
  12. I hope everyone celebrated by watching Half Baked and Friday?????? (and if you have it.. the Song Remains The Same by Zepplin!) -bounce-
  13. Ok. Go to partsamerica.com (Kragen's web site) as that's where I got them. On my receipt it says PN 8360513 $69.99 then under it on the receipt it says FCS782V whatever that is..... HAPPY SHOPPING!!! Oh, and I had the same 29" tires before and after I did the lift....... -bounce-
  14. I will post the p/n tomorrow, I don't have it handy until then. Yes, it was $70 for the pair. -bounce-
  15. Yes, Greg is correct. The only way to remove the oil pan, and or motor, is to drop the diff, that is what holds the show up upon motor removals, and the pan can not be dropped )nor motor removed) with the diff in place... bummer ain't it??? :contract: -thnkboutit- (I assume you have a manual tranny like me??)
  16. I can't speak for anyone else, but when I changed my rear main I left the crank seals alone, with 129,000 on my Pathy.. but... hopefully someone else will chime in with other / better advice.. I am just telling you what I did. btw.. everything else looked rebuilt previously on my motor..soooo :secret:
  17. Welcome Martin!!! Hope we can be of some assistance to you now and in the future! Most of the guys are going with the Calmini 3" lift I believe, that is what I will be getting, but as of yet all I have done in the lift department is use '92-'97 Jeep Grand Cherokee FRONT coils, and they can give you 2-4" of rear lift. (I got almost 4").. there are a LOT of threads about lifts and different types, so use the search engine and you will find a wealth of info about this subject! -bounce-
  18. I agree... I am FAR from a couch potato.. though I am fat.... but I LOVE football (I sometimes turn a tv on out-back while working on the trucks..or the radio to listen to games) and go to as many games as I can... believe me.. we don't sit much at games either....hehehe.. and we sit in the black hole. The Washington Huskies are another of my College teams...I can have 2 college teams..... And if YOU would HURRY UP there Bernard... WE COULD GO WHEEEEEEEEEEELINGGGGGGGGG maaaaaan!!!! LOL LOL LOL But, until then... I am pulling my new Chevy apart.. got the cab off today.. bed tomorrow.. pressure wash.. degrease and some paint on the frame this weekend. oh happy happy joy joy I have a new toy! -bounce-
  19. LOL. Well.. I can't beat the cool emote thingys.. .but happy 4/20 just the same! :type:
  20. HEHEHEHE.. I WIN!! I have 29" (top of bumper to ground) on 255/70/15 tires...I swear I got almost 4" of lift.... do I get a cookie now?? oh.. and I took the tire carrier off...and used the stock rubbers on top of the coils -bounce- Yes.. my coils do seem different, I got them (brand new) for a '97 JGC...front...V-8. Still have a great ride, comfy, little stiffer than stock, and them coils can stuuuuuuuurretch! I can get anyone the p/n if they want it. I got them @ Kragen for $70.
  21. I have to smog my '92 Pathy, so I went with the K & N filter, which I swear by as I have had them in my past 4 trucks..... but it all comes down to personal prefernce and $$
