  1. for the mostpart without screwing it up. You need to unscrew the armrest, and there's clip that holds the window roller on. the panel has snaps out, but they are plastic snaps. Plan on 1 or 2 breaking because they dry rot.

Here's the link the pictures came from...

Could'nt find it right this morning but I think all your questions are answered there.

  2. This is your door in the open position

This is the rod that unlocks your door, but I don't think that's the problem

You'll have to remove your seat and the door panel and make a jimmy with possibly a long skinny screwdriver. Get under that latch and pry it up. You'll have to do it blind, because there is no room for the your head and your head in the same hole. No pun intended. :)

  3. C'mon, the woman gave birth to me for chrissake and I've got a pretty big skull so it wasn't easy.

Is Fabian the dude or the chick? or can you tell?

Tell MoM I said "Peace out" and show love for the big heads :aok:

  4. This is where we are staying next weekend...

If we like it we plan to stay there Monday thru Thursday nights that week in June. You can get cheaper rates on week nights and we'll tent camp on the weekends to save a couple of nickels.

It's in Townsend Tn. It's not nearly as commercial as Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg, but twice as beautiful. It's close to Cades Cove with is my favorite destination in the Smokies!

  5. Let the Onslaught Begin>>>>>>>

Not so bad, if you'd said your wife made you post for votes the that would be bad. Are you sure it's your mom and not the wifey?

Told my wife about it, so I'm sure she will. I'm not gonna watch it. :)

  6. How'd YOU do THAT?!?!?

Teenager with short attention span? I don't know.

I've got one on a '95 parts car if you want it for cost of postage. Sorry I didn't pay attention to what engine you have.

  7. I just rented a cabin in US. I looked on www.VRBO.com (vacation rentals by owner) I've never looked anywhere else. Perhaps there's a similar web site your parents could become a member of.

  8. Shekhar(Sun Mar 9 07:27:00 CDT 2008)>Hello Mr. D k. My name is Shekhar.

Anytime I get a simlilar greeting I know I'm in for a long phone call. Not to say the aren't qualified. It's just to have the ability to explain it technically correct. I can't ever seem to explain the problem so it can be understood.

You know your screwed when the first question after introductions is

    "What means this?"

    :chairfall:

  9. All the survival stuff mentioned above would be a good precaution, but there's no sense in carting it all the way from FL. I'd pick it up once I got to the point where I might need it. That would save space on most of your trip, plus what advice could a store clerk in FL give you about sub-artic survival gear anyway?

    Well said JJ

I've never been to Canada, but have heard you can't cross Canadian border with a gun. Isn't there a ferry ride from Seatle to Alaska? That's the route I'd take.

  10. I like it. The gromit you used is pretty good. I wish someone offered a snout that would prevent rainwater from getting in. I saw one once on a jeep site that was homemade, but it was huge.

off-topic, what kind of hat is that on the roof. Roll Tide :hide:

  11. next time try changing cap last.

change the plugs and wires one at a time in order attaching them to the old cap. Then put the new wires on the new cap one at a time in the same order. Remove old cap and install new with wires already attached in correct order. This will save you ever getting them confused.

I had a trouble figuring how to get rotor off, didn't notice the screw on the back holding it on. Will try to find that post and send you a link.

  13. Failed miserably trying to aquire ball joints. Went to Advanced Auto and the kid was pretty useless. Got the ball joint for the 87 but the bolt pattern was different. Checked the Hardbody and the same part no. came up. Was late to meet wife and kids for school function so I didn't have time to try everything.

Have to find a part store with a more knowledgeable staff. Last time I went to this one they were quite helpful.

This is the link from where I got them
