Edit:
WD-40 got the sleeve off, but now the timings off. He was able to get it close enough but needs to be fine tuned.
-
Just talked to Bobby and he got the rotor off, but the metal sleeve is still on. He's going to try to put some heat on it.
-
Hope you got her out before it rained.
-
I don't know Bobby, I took the screw off the rotor button and is slid right off. Did you take the screw all the way out? Maybe it got hot and melted or so some corrosion occured and siezed it to the distributor?

what kind of garden we talkin about?

3. Is it really leaking if it feels fine?
edit:
Are you loosing fluid? When you hold down the brake does it loose resistance?
you did say power steering
end edit
You could check the hoses, I've had to replace mine once. If it's truly leaking like a sieve it should be easy to find the source.
BTW< mine is a WD21 don't know how closely it resembles the R50 set-up.

Nice Avatar, post a bigger pic. Have you met Tex? (TerranoNZ)
You might be neighbors.

well it looks like I got cut from the trip...some other work came up here at the office so they changed plans on me right after getting back from submitting all my passport stuff...so at least they're still getting my passport for me and are planning to send me on some trips in the near future but it sucks that I had finally gotten all the information researched and was ready for the trip...
C'est la vie
Time to check on that other lead you have. Maybe they'll change their mind if you quit. Maybe put the brown noser who stole your spot and got them to tell you the more work story back in the office" .

:worthless:
It's not worthless, are you still running stock UCA's? Rumor is you can't get good alignment without them because they're too short. I got mine used for $75-100 bucks, can't remember.

Is it cleaner that that kid with the cool avatar a few years back? I forgot his name.

yep. Mine burned clean through. Hole throught he floor pan, carpet padding smoldering, the whole works. Repaired it with a cookie sheet, some silicone caulking and a couple of silicone hot pads.95 pathy exposed to lots of water and such over the years.
Pulling boat up long hill (5 miles or so)
Engine didn't overheat but the exhaust certainly got too hot.
smoke filled inside truck, floormats melting under my feet.
Got the 'fire' put out with my big-gulp and pulled up the carpet to find that there was a big hole in the floor right over the exhaust pipe. All insulation under the carpeting was black ash. Plastic in carpet and bottom of floormat melted. Truck stinks now.
I pulled into a walmart pk lot in Mt. Pocono to put it out and see what I could do to get the family, truck and boat the rest of the way home.
Clearance stainless steel baking pan... $2.00
Clearance silicone hot pads... $5.00 for 2
Clearance avation snips... $7.00
Tube of 100% silicone bathtub caulk ... $2.79
Cheap-ass caulking gun... $1.78
Many years of watching Macgyver... priceless.
I won't let you desecrete Macgyver like that. You didn't even use duct tape!

Thanks for the good info. Bye bye safety hoop

I plan to install lift Friday and Saturday, but running these parts against the parts list, I can't figure what they are called, much less for. I think they are the gas fill extension and brackets for P/Steering.
Here is a photo of the parts list, hope it's legible.
Thanks for the help. BTW, freight company called 32 BF's delivered today!

My tax rebate check is going right back to the government.
I hired an accountant to do my 2006 taxes and just 2 weeks ago I got a letter from the IRS showing that the accountant made a mathematical mistake (his addition was off by over $5k) and I now owe the IRS $560. This is coincidentally at the same time that we are getting stimulus checks for $600.
Looks like the only economy i'll be stimulating is the US government >
I was thinking too if the government estimated how much of the stimulas would be spent on items that are already taxed at least 50% like, booze, cigerettes, and casinos. Then the $600 rebate would only cost the government 300$

do what?
Might be local to my culture but
Stick the Pathy it getting invested
is the same as saying
"F" the Pathy
I will see if I can make it more understandable
Edit:
It won't let me edit a Poll, can you change it to
Screw the Pathy it's getting invested
-
I wonder if our Pathy's will see any of the Tax Rebate?
Let's hear what your spending yours on.
I got some Manual Hubs 3" Lift and 32"BFG Muds not the new K2, but should be sweet.
Wife keeps the rest.

My 3" lift came in yesterday.
If I had to guess why the 2"BL costs more...
I bet A/C only buys 3" Poly spacers and cuts them down to 2" in-house. Therefore you pay for the additional labor and handling.
Call and ask they are actually easy to talk to on the phone. I guess I was drinking too much and ordered the lift for the '96 and up. They called me the next day and told me I needed the lift for the WD21 and it would save me $40 bucks.
So far so good.

These are the tires I'm looking at getting.

I've got some wheels from my parts car, but don't know how wide they are....
The specs say these tires will fit a rim 8" thru 10". Anyone know if these rims fall within that spec. When I get home I'll see what tires are on there now, but I don't think it will tell me how wide the rim is.
In short the question is will these fit?
BTW 3" lift and manual hubs are in route. time to get serious.

Be glad it's just Josh and not THIS GUY
-
because 2 is < then 3.
you seem to know about but maybe you don't know about so there. :D
Help mod abuse.
-
Some hard core wheelers actually...
heh heh hard core I like. if they are the right match for the WD21. I'm all over that. PM me an address for PAYPAL and I'll get you the cash in the morning.

I remember seeing a link for some mile marker manual hubs for $130. I'm striking out finding them that cheap. Probably inflation and I'm a cheap bastard.
Anyway, looking for best prices on 3" lift and manual hubs. Need to get it done this month for coal creek in June. '87 wd21 2dr
Also I don't have funds for 32" muds all the way around. Anybody see a problem putting BFG 32's on rear, leaving BFG 31's on front until funds come available to get a whole set? i will be driving approx 1200 miles this way. 2 of my 31's are in bad shape. the other two are not bad at all. Old shocks took two of them out before thier time.
Any help and not much abuse would be appreciated. Oh yeah, why is 2" lift more than 3" lift.
