  1. I ordered the Thorleys from Summitracing.com. I ordered a high-flow\high performance muffler and cat from Spintech.com. Then I got a local muffler shop to put it all together (2.5 pipe) for $150. Z
  2. Wow....all that for just one grand? Excellent! Z
  3. Consider a Spintech(.com) muffler if you want to be different. I have one (have not heard it yet; Pathy still in the shop). You'll get a beasty sound + good flow. Z
  4. Great thread. FYI, I am ordering Scneider's #17071 tomorrow. I'll post my impressions when I get them installed. Z
  5. Thanks Filthy Luker According to this chart, 15mm is about 1/2" to 5/8" and that's all I would need....? Z
  6. What's the backspacing in mm of the Legos? I've got some Nismos and need to get spacers, but don't know how much. (sorry about the hijak) Z
  7. Anyone? I need to order these soon if I am going to do it. Z
  8. ...as far as computer upgrades....I am waiting for L&P's supercharger because they indicated that that they will be re-mapping the ECU for a\f management. Z
  9. Wow....great find on the cams! I am not sure what to order, though....perhaps a cam that has lift and duration close to the JWT cam? Would I order the lift\spring set for the SOHC 300ZX too? Supercharger for the VG30i or VG30e will be ready this spring? :cool2: Thanks! Z
  10. I just came across this site tonight... Replacing the Nissan Pathfinder MKI Spare Tire Carrier Bushings Please don't shoot if it a repost Z
  11. I am going with Old Man Emu shocks. They have the best ride out there IMO. However, I am going with BDS springs & torsion bars w\ superlift UCAs. I'll let you know in about a month how I like the ride of the Old Man Emu shocks. Keep in mind they they have heavy-duty and "medium" shocks. I went with medium b\c I don't think I will be towing often. Z
  12. I don't know much about cams. I do know that I want more power, and cams are the way to go until L&P developes the supercharger for the VG-30e. I know (I think?) that lift and duration determine where you gain power... low-end torque verses top-end. I don't want a race cam that wil upset idle and cause stalling issues. With all that said, can you give me your opions about what is available to us? AC in-house cams : AC "mild" cams High Performance Cams/VG30 These cams will give you a 15% increase in horsepower. They are ground to specification for optimum setting. Specifically designed to increase midrange performance. .425"/256* lift and duration. Highly recommended to replace stock lifters which are sold separately. 12 required. All cams are ground from billet, not reground. AC "race" cams Race Cams/VG30 These cams will give you a 20% increase in horsepower. They are ground to specification for optimum setting. Specifically designed to increase midrange performance. .430"/262* lift and duration. Highly recommended to replace stock lifters which are sold separately. 12 required. All cams are ground from billet, not reground. JWT cams (sold at AC) JWT "street" cam High Performance Cams S1 billet cams. .440"/260 degrees. Provides good idle, great mid range and torque. Good on turbo or street normally asperated engines. Recommended to change lifters when replacing cams. Lifters sold separately. Provides @ 15% increase in HP. JWT "race" cam Race Cams S1 billet cams. .473"/266 degrees. Biggest cam that can pysically fit in the head without modifications. A little lope at idle, but not too bad. Short overlap makes this good a good mid range and torgue cam. For turbo or street normally asperated engines. Recommended to change lifters when replacing cams. Lifters sold separately. Provides @ 15% increase in HP. Keep in mind that I (currently) live in a smog state. I'd prefer a good mid-range power-curve. How much & where can I get a lifter & shim kit? I should do cam seals at the same time, right? Thanks for your opinions! Z
  13. Hmmmm....now that's a good idea, but I live in a smog\inspection area....I am sure NC has some lame excuse to make that illegal. I'll have to ask around.... Thanks for the idea! :cool2: Z
  14. Which part of the centerlink fails, exactly? I know I have a probem concerning the centerlink (feathered tires, wobble, etc), and I am planning on ordering L&P's centerlnk, but I don't know where to look to see if my core is serviceable or not Thanks Z
  15. BIG D!CK SUSPENSION BDS= big d!ck suspension, I found it on their website. scroll down Z
  16. What's the going price for Superlift P\N 6065 Upper contril arms? I thought that the going price was $150 to $180... ...you can't buy them directly from superlift. Summit Racing has them for $265 The AC UCAs are a nono , correct? The more and more I look at a lift, it seems that it is just as cheap to do a Calmini...it is complete. Z

    Bra's

gotta love eBay here was a quickie search: Pathfinder Bras scroll down to eBay stores Z
  18. You wouldn't happen to have a list of bushings that I need to replace, woud you? Ill probably go with L&P's centerlink...thanks for the tip! Thanks guys Z
  19. I like those wheels that you listed, however I am hooked on the Nismo wheels. I have a 350z with silver Volk wheels....It would be kinda fun to duplicate that Z
  20. Thanks guys, I realize I might need a spaceer, but how much? Here is a link to a quick search I found on eBay: eBay Wheel Spacers I guess I have to choose between plates and adapters.... Z
  21. What is causing my tires to feather? I purchased my rig a few months ago and it had newer tires. It is not lifted. The front tires were feathered when I got it (feathered so bad the whole pathy vibrated rolling down the highway) Shortly after I purchased it, I had the dealership go through it and inspect all of the steering \ front suspension components. They said everything looked good, including the balljoints (keep in mind that this is a dealer that would love to unnecessarily replace parts). The centerlink apears straight. At this time I had the tires rotated...the unfeathered rears went up front. I also had an alignment done. Things were better for a while (vibration from feathered tires that were moved to the rear subsided slightly) until recently things got bad again. I looked at the front tires closely and they are feathering What's causing this? Balljoints? Centerlink? Worn Bushings? :help: Z
  22. I have fallen in love with these wheels  at Courtesey Parts I was going to wait to do the wheels and tires, but, they are on sale...$100 bucks off... I have a 95 SE... I think it is the same bolt pattern >> correct me if I am wrong However, I think that the backspacing would be an issue. Is the stock backspacing 3.0 or 3.5 inches? ...and 39mm is only an inch or so, so I think I need wheel-spacers Oh, one other thing...what is the metric eqivalant to a 31-10.5-16? Thanks Z
