    turbo

    well my diesel pathy is turbo charged.. but it is still sluggish, if you want more speed... buy a racecar
  6. that is a good question? i don't know, but i changed the viscous stuff about 6 nonths ago so it should be. Planning to remove that anyway and add an electrical one as soon as i can find one in a junkyard. Not many pathys on the island, maybe i could get one from a Nissan maxima
  7. this is weird ... i can drive my path flat out, or up hill without the ac on and the temp barely gets to half way..but if i try it with the ac on... it starts to overheat? I have in a custom made 3 core radiator.if i slow down or am on flat roads..the temp drops back to normal quickly.
  8. my pathy is turbo charged...ok it is a 2.4 turbo diesel...but it is still tcharged.
  9. is your rig diesel powered? try flushing the entire system using a commercial flushing agent... i had a similar problem with my disel engine and that helped...

    help !

    :help: I tried adding a 10" electricl fan to my pathy, Mounted it on the radiator to the left of stock fan... but when I hit the hills with the ac on.. pathy still runs hot.If the Ac is off... no prob same thing in heavy traffic. Suggestions have been: Spring for new radiator, Find 15/16 " electrical and discard stock fan Turn off ac on the hills or in traffic Mainly japanese cars and trucks here, maybe you guys know what models I could easily transplant an electrical fan from. thanks
  18. i am a veterinarian.... have your dog/cat neutered, its healthier for them and reduces strays. Oh yeah people should have to take a test to get a liscence for pet ownerhip... actually that should also apply to having children.
  19. autos rule,( manual - clutch+ more fun + luxury= auto)
  20. my amp is a power acoustic gothic series about 2 " thick, so i just took out the seat and ran the wiring, I stiched some velcro to the carpet and stuck the other side to the bottom of the amp{ super glue } and just left it there it does not move and I drive though bumpy cartroads every day. Its handy too cause there is a blue light on the amp which gives a little gleam to the foot bay.If you are running a cap... I have mine in the centre console with the wiring going through the bottom. hope it helps
  21. had a similar prob.. my path, has to carry a small cabinet{whole with of back} a large plastic bin, and other vet equipment in the back. Soooo, I stuck my amp under the right front seat, plan to stick the other amp under the left{maybe this weekend} and the sub is a small box with a 12 " kenwood in the back next to big bin and behind the cabinet. You can also try mounting the amps from a custom interior roof rack.
  22. plan to order a manual tonite if I could find one at amazon. Thanks for the info, you were right... except my thermostsat is missing{ gotta spend some money tomorrow}
  23. Where is it? My pathy is diesel and I don't have a clue about it yet?
  24. thanks guys... I'll try to get one or the other but living in the caribbean does have it's set backs .... at least there is a napa here{ poorly stocked} but here.
  25. well I can't get a fan clutch here unless i buy a new water pump :furious: nuf money pssd ... so i wanted to know if there is a clutchless fan that i could install? :cool2: i know it would mean that it would be spinning fast all the time, but I live in the tropics it is always hot or hotter!
