  1. The picture is of 2 FRONT SPRINGS compared agaisnt eachother. That is not the back spring with a front one. One is longer then the other?
  2. AC tried to tell me this was ok.
  3. Any chance you could bypass the pump and hook it up to a switch?
  4. Just got my AC springs today. The package was all messed up. Well anyways the rear springs looked ok but when I looked at the front springs here is what I saw. Is this ok?
  5. Hey guys, ever since I got my pathfinder (03 4x4 LE) with 48,000 miles on it the brakes have seemed a little mussy and it feels like they don't kick in till about 1/4 pedal travel and even at that it takes till about 1/2 pedal effort to get them to really stop. My mechanic checked them out and said they were just recently replaced with everything brand new. It also seems like when I use them for a long time like on a hill or after a while they seem to fade alot and pedal travel increases. I have 67,000 miles on my truck now and was wondering what I could posisbly do to fix this? Is this just something pathy have (poor brakes) due to the rear drums? I was thinking of doing a brake fluid change, bleed, SS brake lines, and maybe new pads? How does this sound? Thanks.
  6. "you for your e-mail. I personally have not heard of any body overheating with manual locking hubs. First time I have heard this. If we can be of any further assistance or you wish to order, call or you can order on line at" It some times makes me wonder if AC really know what the hell they are really doing? Dean do you think that it will really be a problem to run the AC lift with out manual hubs?
  7. Theres a place under the bridge on grandville street across from the market in Vancouver that has it. Forget the name but a yellow building.
  8. I don't have it but are you sure that there was a gasket in the one you had? And if there was a gasket did you coat it with oil? If you answer no to either of those questions then there is your problem.

  10. I read your thread. What ended up happening? Do we have anyone who has just a knob and has hubs? Does it work? It doesn't make sense to me though why you need a pump for the t-case? Doesn't the oil just slosh around and cool the gears? When I engage my 4x4 into 4hi I hear a low whirling noise from the transcase. I wonder if this is the electric pump working? I only hear it in 4x4. From the pictures I looked at it seemed as if the the oil pump was beteween the main drive gear and the front drive gear on the chain. But is CV wear that big of a deal if you have the AC lift? How soon will the cv's wear if you are a DD and do wheeling maybe 2-3 times a month that is moderate?
  11. Haha great...... I had planned on getting manual hubs to go with my AC lift I just purchased. The whole reason I got the AC lift is because I thought I could put on manual hubs to lessen the wear on CV's. This is great to find out. I confirmed it but looking at a parts description and there is indeed an oil pump in the transfer case? The stick shift trans case doesn't have one? Dammit nissan!
  12. Talked to Alex about putting manual hubs on an all-mode 03 pathfinder. He said that the oil pump for the transfer case is driven off of the front drive shafts so it would not be a good thing to use manual hubs. Any one have any experience?
  13. Thanks guys I ended up going with the KYB. It got them for like 58 a piece with free shipping! Beats AC's 102 dollars and like 100 dollar shipping. Thats the only thing AC is rediculous with its prices and shipping.
  14. Yeah thats what I got. I had the kyb front struts before and compressed them by hand. They felt softer then even a mountain bike shock. I guess it is just marketing playing with my head. I'm like how can a premium pretty much OE replacement strut be better then a "offroading" strut. But You guys have actually used them and I guess if you have no complaints its all good. THanks for the help!
  15. I am just nervous about the KYB because I bought them before and thought they were pretty soft. But that was compressing them by hand? Also it seems like alot of guys with the 3.3 L go with the KYB. Not sure if they will be alright with the lighter 3.5 up front? I like the ranchos because they adjust the valving but I had orginally ordered the rancho but switchted to KYB after reading so hopefully you guys are right
  16. Pezzy what do you have? Do you know by any chance the part number for the longer travel rancho 9000xl for the ac lift?
  17. I am pretty much ordering the lift but just need to decide between the rancho front struts and the kyb front struts? I will be getting the Rancho 9000xl rear shocks. Which do you think will work best with the AC lift. I have heard good things about both but just can't decide between the two. I can actually get the kybs for 20 less off of www.performancecenter.com so which should I go for? Thanks.
  18. Don't quote me on this but I thought I read somewhere that pathfinders tend to lean in towards the left because of the gas tank or something else up front to make it lean that way?
