  1. Tekazgtr. I am still not understanding how your tires fit? Dean says that 4.25 is the max bs you could run. You have 4.75 so how the heck do yours fit?
  2. Yeah I would deffinatly completely recommend not going custom. I spent over $600 on a custom exhaust and 2 months of time figuring out what the problem was. I felt the same torque loss and told the shop. They said they did everything right. So then I had them redo it with a different muffler. Still same thing. Just get stock. Custom is a waste of money and does nothing for the pathy.

  4. I agree with silverpathy. I had 2.25 pipes not mandrel bent into a flowmaster 50 series suv muffler with 2.25 back to the 3 in tip. I felt the exact same torque loss as him. When I first had the pathy (3.5L) I always felt like I was spinning tire and that you had to ease into the pedal. After the exhaust I had the same trouble climbing hills and exactly what he said. If I were you honestly I would not get an exhaust. I would just buy factory replacement. I have seen OEM exhaust resonator back on ebay for like 200??? with a warranty. How many revs does the engine sit at when doing 60? With a lift and roofrack and stock tires my truck to do 60 takes about 2200-2300 RPM. What is normal revs for 60 on a flat highway?
  5. Ok thank you! Friken 4wheelparts has been sold out of all their wheels forever so I will try to find anothe 4.0 BS wheels. If not I am just going to try to run my risk with the 4.25 and see if it fits. tekagtr got his to fit with 4.75 and that picture I posted had stock wheels so I think I should be ok with 4.25. Thank you.
  6. Sorry to bother you Dean. Just to clarify what is the max backspacing that would work with 265/75/16 tires?
  7. Dean was what I said right? 265/75/16 would be a 32/10.50/16 correct?
  8. Sorry for all the confusion and asking a million times. I just misunderstood Dean and thought that all wheels for the pathy had to have 4.0 or more backspacing or they would not fit 31s or 32s. But I did not realize that there is a difference in how Dean was measuring the tires or what I said. Just trying to clarify so I don't get the tires and they don't fit
  9. Sorry about not being clear. Here is what I am wondering: What backspacing in a 16 in rim will I need to fit 265/75/16 BFG AT KO Tires (Section width:10.6 on 7.5 and Overall Diameter:31.7) with the AC 2in lift? There are some 16 in 4.25 in backspaced wheels I found. Will those work? I assume from this picture (Has 265/75/16 tires and stock wheels that anything less than stock would work)
  10. Ah man thank you for informing me of that. I have been going crazy thinking I need 4.0 or more backspacing to fit 31s or 32s. Do you know the exact brand you have? Notice any sluggishniss in power or brakes taking longer to stop with the 32s?
  11. Your tires don't hit your struts?
  12. I am pretty sure you have to have the 16x7 because the 16x8 have a smaller backspacing which wouldn't allow for 32s to fit.
  13. I have the flowmaster 50 series suv muffler and it sounds awesome. I had the 40 series before and it was way to loud and annoying. I have 2.25 tubing into a 3 in muffler and it looks and sounds great.
  14. Pezzy your AR wheels are 16 x 7 right? I swear I am having the hardest time ever find 16 x 8 6 x 5.5 4.0 or < wheels that are in stock?
  15. Is the rubbing just sorta annoying at full lock? Or is it nesecary to fit them to cut away some of the fenders? Did anyone notice any increase in braking efforted needed with the 32s? Wear in steering parts? Anyone with the 3.5 notice a drop in power once you put them on?
  16. Getting ready to purchase my tires. Can't decide between the 2 sizes oddly enough a 265/70/16 (31) is around 205 for a bfg AT and a 265/75/16 (32) is about 190. So my question is do you get that much of a decrease in gas mileage / rubbing / power / wear on steering parts with the 32's? Which would you guys reccomend?
  17. But if the camber is unadjustable why would they even have it in there computer?
  18. Well I just thought of something. When the pathy comes from the factory camber is not adjustable. However, when the lift is installed the camber angle is changed and the bolts allow for the camber to be set back to the factory setting. My question is what is the factory camber?
  19. How many miles are on your truck that you are replacing wheel bearings? I have an 03 with 71,000. I thought wheel bearings were good for atleast 100,000 if you repacked them? I am in the market for new wheels and tires. I think I am going to get the 16's so I don't have to mess around with grinding down calipers and stuff. There is about a 300-400 dollar difference though between 15 in wheels with tires and 16 in wheels with tires.
  20. Well I have a Nissan Pathfinder with a 2 in lift. After installing the lift I had the tires aligned and used cam bolts to allow for more adjustment. Now that I have had the lift on for a couple months I have noticed a shake in the steering wheel and also excessive tire wear on the outside of the left front tire. There is some tire wear on the front right one by not as bad as the front left one. The alignment shop said they aligned it to factory specs. How should I go about fixing this?
  21. Why not wire directly to the battery?
  22. I know a guy who does really good custom work. I am thinking about just having him duplicate the tjm bumper. Doesn't really look that hard. It will honestly probaly be cheaper.
