  1. You have the bumper why don't you just hold it up on the pathy and just sorta see if there is any possible way it would fit?
  2. I tried my best but you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a picture of a pathy directly straight on. The only problem I could see is that the whole thing won't sit level with the lights and won't wrap around right.
  3. What about swaping in Infinit qx4 headlights. Don't know if the turn signal will fit into the fender?
  4. Was it bearable or should I get new wheels? Was it at like only full reverse? Got any pics?
  5. Well I was looking at the 265/65/17 the 265/70/17 is a 32 in tire so I don't have to worry about that. Where did the 31ins rub at on the rim or strut or on the wheel wells? Thanks man.
  6. 265/70/16 are 31's correct? How did you get those tires not to hit the struts? I have the AC lift with the LE 17 in wheels. Do ou think I could fit a 31 in tire on the 17 in wheels with the AC lift? Thanks. Your trucks look great!
  7. So the 15 inch wheels ended up fitting ok? No problems with the other side bracket?
  8. I know the 15 inch wheels will fit on the older model r50's but will they deffinatly fit on the newer model r50's with bigger brakes? Do you have to grind down the calibers and by how much?
  9. Thanks Dean. Do you know how good pep boys quality of service is? Are the camber adjustment bolts from summit ok to get?
  10. No Problem man 2 KYB Struts cost me 124 shipped from (www.performancecenter.com) 2 Rancho 9000XL shocks and 4 coils springs cost me 598 shipped from (www.4x4parts.com) The pacakge was damaged so I got free shipping so my total was 538 2 Strut mounts 50.00 2 strut boots 28.32 2 strut bearings 59.84 Plus shipping 9.98 So that makes my total 809 Other things to keep in mind when getting the lift are: camber bolts, alignment, and probaly new tires. So your probaly looking at well over 1,600 to do everything right.
  11. Well what I have heard most from people is that they know how to do jeep suspension but then when I tell them I have struts they say like oh yeah I have done a ford escort or some other cars struts? So I mean they have had strut experience but not with my specific truck you know what I mean. With pep boys what kind of service are they giving you for $40? A hackjob? or good work? I am located in PA near Pgh. Thanks for all the help. Is this all I need for my lift (this is the stuff I have let me know if I am missing anything or are there any little things I need like nuts or bolts which might be rusty and need new ones) 4 coils 2 struts 2 shocks 2 strut mounts 2 strut bearings 2 strut boots Should I have gotten new bolts for the two holes in the bottom of the strut and should I get new nuts? Dean what was that trick you were saying about lining up the struts with the V or something? Dean does the flat side of the spring sit on the bottom or top when installing? Thank you!
  12. Dean where I live there is mostly just jeeps. I want to do the lift install myself would you recommend having these jeep guys help me out? They seem like they know what they are doing with jeeps its just that I don't know how much they know about struts. Do you think I am better off spending money for my mechanic to do it?
  13. If you are not messing with a spacer you just reuse these bolts correct?
  14. The bolts come in ± 2° or ± 1° which should I get? And do I only need 2 per wheel or only 1 per wheel.
  15. Saw these on summit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...r=1#Application they say they fit 1996 - 2002 but I wasn't aware that the strut design changed in 03 and 04? Will these bolts work on an 03? I don't feel like spending 30 dollars from AC.
  16. Hey man, yeah I am glad that everything worked out. But I think it took around a whole entire week from the moment I ordered the springs till I got them at my door. Maybe a day longer. Yeah don't worry man it should be coming. Did they give you a tracking number?
  17. Well I am happy how thigns turned out. IT seems I can never get car parts intact. The last time I bought struts and shocks, the struts bands got cut somehow and they blew through the box as well as a shocks.
  18. Haha thanks man. Well according to murphys law if there are two possible outcomes the worser one will always prevail. I have a bad feeling this will be happening haha
  19. Who needs to be able to actually merge onto a highway without taking 15 seconds to get to 60 ? Jeeps are so overated.
  20. Heres what happened. The package came all smashed and messed up with holes in it and all deformed. I called Volrcik to ask him what to do because I didn't want to open the package and not have them return it. So Volrick tells me to open the package up and check for damage or missing parts. I do just that and thats why I am scrutinizing every little thing. So anyways everything looks good until I get to the front coils. I compare them and notice what I have posted on here. For all I knew the spring could have been bent or thats just how it comes from factory. But anyways I told Volrick and sent pictures. He responded by saying all the springs are like that and that its just an optical illusion sort of deal. They even compared them at the AC warehouse and got the same thing. So he said that he was going to give me a credit for the shipping. It was rediculous how the package was delivered. But anyways thats how the situation ended. So the springs are meant to be like that + and optical illusion. I didn't mean to compain its just that I spend over $600 on something and was just unimpressed with the crappy packaging and when I saw the springs I just assumed bad quality like the packing. I am keeping the springs. Thank you for the help. Dean if you wuold have seen the package you would have seen why I am concerned.
  21. Alright dean I will get more detailed pics and mesurements and get back to you.
  22. Dean the springs are aligned in the picture so that both are facing the same direction. What you are seeing is that the top of one spring compared with the top of another spring. Is this alright? Also the longer spring when looking at it from the side or top is sorta like /
  23. From this picture it looks like the oil pump runs in between the the main drive shaft and the front drive shaft. But it looks like it runs on the chain so the front would have to be engaged. Don't see any secondary pump.
