  1. Yeah it should be long enough. I've seen pictures of the body lift installed over in Japan not needing an extension of some sort.

    Tow hook

who needs the rear tow points when you got the tow hitch
  3. The body lift will make it easier to install but it will not help for clearance of the auto tranny. A little modification to the headers and you'll clear the tranny. I believe there was a person that manage to get the thorleys to work without modding it any but that was a long time ago and my memory is quite vague.
  4. not at all. You might have to just adjust the nuts holding the shifter below which isn't hard at all.
  5. I wished they had a 4" body lift here in the US! You could fit 33x12.50s on a 15x8 wheel with some slight trimming. No difference between the 3" and 4" body lift except the 1" and that extra 1" inch helps out a lot. Hell, I would probably go for 35x12.50s if I had a 4" body lift on.

    Tow hook

That's what I did. The front tow points are the same regardless. Nissan only installed one tow hook and so the manual said to use that one tow hook.
  7. I'm running a 33x12.50x15 with a backspacing of 4 inches. The rear hatch opens without a problem. I have roughly 2-3 inches of clearance.
  8. I got around and bought me the JWT pop charger. I still need to fabricate my heat shield and figure how to mount the sunbeech. They supplied the mounting bracket but I haven't figured it out. Anyhow, the the filter opening is something like 8 inches wide or so and utilizes a venturi maf adapter.
  9. And if you're running 33s and you're in a world of hell hehe
  10. hook it up to the line going from the fuel filter (the tin looking can) to the fuel rack.
  11. I mocked up a heatshield for the cone intake.....
  12. what plastic pipe? There's a resonator box in the fender, that big tube that connects to the hole in the fender, and the resonator pipe that runs atop the fan shroud, which all is removed except for the crap in the fender. I just got done home from the movies, driving home at night, and the fricking intake filter was hot to touch. well the metal was. I'm probably switching back to my drop-in panel filter...
  13. The only problem with the AC 3 inch suspension lift package is the upper control arms. There has been alignment issues with some due to shortness of length or build. Other than that, there isn't a problem. I'm not sure if AC has installed zerk fittings on the UCAs but if there isn't any, it's best to have them installed or else you'll be one squeaky sumbitch. As for body lifts, no body lift is complete actually. You're gonna have to buy extra bolts, nuts, washers, hoses, etc. I went with The Performance accessories from AC for my 93. They had the 4 longer bolts I needed for my model. Those long bolts hard frickin hard to find.
  14. It was time to clean my K&N drop-in panel filter, and I decided to install my old cone intake filter. I had to ghetto fabbed the MAF adapter I had to get it to work without any leaks using an old aluminum for sale sign, some solder, and lots of silicone. Didn't have any scrap metal around so I just used some speaker wire and suspended the filter. I'll post some pictures up when I get a hold of a camera.
  15. The MAF sensor isn't removed in this application and stays attached like it always has been.
  16. im thinking about just making my own perhaps..
  17. a few people use the altima maf adapter off ebay and modd it a little to get it to work
  18. check to see if your parking brake line isn't on the muffler or anything else is in contact with the exhaust system.
  19. Not really familiar with LSDs. Repack the clutch packs? change out fluids?
  20. I'd suggest you check your fuses again. Sounds like something came in contact with the ground. did you install in an aftermarket stereo? if so, sounds like the illumination wire shorted out.
  21. Yeah I've seen write ups around the net. You might wanna try searching over at pirate4x4
  22. I went in to the dealership to see how much a tach would run for my 93 and they were telling me $268
