checked today, put it on some grass and popped the clutch in first, only one wheel rut. Jacked it up and spun a rear wheel the other when the opposite way. Conclusion: Open Diff

Hmmm i think this problem would be on the passengers side on my terrano I drive on the rh side. Doesn't look like too much of a mission. I've done some pretty knarly rust patches during my time as a panel beater. FYI: toyota hiluxs and ford zodiacs are the worst by far imo anyway.

Hmmmm mystery, so yours was australian new or imported? if imported it could have been imported from america. Maybe all the imports from japan are terrano?

I have a 1991 Terrano R3m TD27 Turbo. Kinda wanted some specs on the engine and stuff. So the difference in the names lies in trim levels and engines? or Pathfinder = American, Terrano = Everywhere else.
