Great Find!!! Did you use one of the super affordable exhaust kits online (I think they are made by Bosal) ?

I disagree, I went with a Magnaflow, a bit of a drone, Great Sound. Had to increase my HP from 171 to 171.5 minimum! Had a shop run a new pipe after the muffler with no resonator. It did feel like it added some power but who knows... MPG I would say is the same, dismal... If you want the model no. I can look for the receipt.

All the parts I have ordered from Rob have been Super Quick!!! ferrari, did you ever find the clunk? Almost positive mine was from sway bar link. Also replaced control arms, balljoints, inner and outer tie rods, front swaybar bushings. All other parts pretty loose.

Pretty sure the clunk is sway bar link drivers side. Hope to replace soon. Trying to gather up all the parts I want to replace on the front suspension. Front control arm bushings looked cracked, need to see if I can replace bushings only. Entire control arm is quite pricey and doesnt appear to include balljoints....

I had thought my lower MPG was caused by bank 2 sensor 2 post cat drivers side. I was told by mechanic it has no effect on MPG. Ended up replacing to pass emissions anyway. No change on MPG.

Very cool shoes, thought I had the Path where I wanted it (have another SUV thats lifted).... After seeing alot more lifted R50's on here than when I joined the site, I am starting to think otherwise. So many options, so little funds...

Not familiar with these, are they a 3rd coil spring lift option?

Filter may be similar, you would still need the "aluminum venturi" to connect it. They claim that is where you get the largest performance gain via "venturi theory". Not an engineer, would like to see dyno's before and after etc, but I will say it is a nicely made design.

May have to price out some front 02's.

Yeah, I dig mine also. Have read about using too much oil, potential to destroy MAF. Not sure how common that is considering how many open air oil filters are on the market now. Hey silva, any chance you still have those running boards??

Used to use Courtesy, they were always good to deal with and alot cheaper than local.... then I found Rob thru this website. Prices are better, shipping is faster, AND you cant beat the info and being able to talk with someone who cares and has ALOT of info when it comes to Pathfinders!! Re: balljoints, Moog used to be the stuff, keep hearing about their quality decline. Have them on my other SUV, probably installed 3 or 4 years ago. I like the fact I can grease them! Will have to check out other recommendations on the site. And on the other hand, dont see how you can go wrong with OEM either, mine have lasted almost 14 years now! And with sealed you dont have to grease them.... Hmmmmmmm

Couldnt be happier with the sound of the Magnaflow I had installed. Even went so far as to bring my other SUV with a Flowmaster Force II Catback to the owner of the muffler shop to see if he could swap out muffler with a Magnaflow. Magnaflow has lifetime warranty as well. It does have a drone in the cabin though which can be annoying to some. Re: mileage, cant say I noticed any increase with it. And I dont think I get any better gas mileage than you do. I stopped checking it. Dont have a scan-gauge, sure interested in one. Been using something called the paper, pencil, calculator, reset odeometer method at fill-up... And re: O2 sensors, I would definitely go with Bosch or NTK as already stated. They are plug and play/no splicing. For whatever reason, I had thought NTK were OEM (maybe got confused with NGK plugs (same company), and KYB shocks etc, too many 3 letter names... Anyway, best price at the time was Amazon. Spent way too many hours replacing post cat drivers side to find out it was a Bosch (as already stated). May have to look into the fronts as suggested also. Gas Prices going back up again, close to $4 a gallon.

When I ordered mine, they were no other options that I could find. Mine is one of their original versions, its red. The "aluminim venturi" is well made and fits great. Not sure what I did wrong, but i was never able to get the brace to fit correctly. SInce replacing the stock intake had to bend a new one anyway. It was about $50 cheaper over a decade ago as well... At the time and for what I paid for it I have been very satisfied with it. Only cleaned/oiled it once or twice in over a decade. The rubber part of the filter is starting to crack now but so far it is still solid.

Would love to add supercharger, but for the money, isnt justifiable to me. Have accepted the fact that this engine is solid, but MPG and power is not on its list of positives... Only did exhaust as mine cracked, it did help, and does sound good. JWT Pop Charger was done as I was trying to find Anything to add some acceleration, merging on freeway was not fun at times. Re: mods, It does cause less MPG as stated above in the fact I like to hear the exhaust now. Drove a VQ Pathfinder when they came out, I was impressed when comparing it to the VG. If money isnt an issue, supercharger sounds like a nice addition. Especially considering you can get OEM.

I wouldnt think that would be the clunk noise either, but at this point I have no idea whats causing mine either. Went underneath and dont feel or see anything loose. My struts were replaced during the strut recall and all the strut mounts,bearings,etc were purchased from Rob and replaced. All looks and feels solid up front.

Gotta love a vehicle with almost zero aftermarket.... I wont waste my money getting an actual dyno reading/comparison, seat dyno tells me I gained a few ponies. Merging onto the highway is definitely better/easier. "Mods" I have done over the years Jim Wolf "pop charger" Magnaflow catback with resonator delete (reputable muffler shopI used recommended 2.25 over 2.5, not mandrel bent, would recommend getting mandrel if money tree owner) Spectre intake (make it with their pieces)--I think I found the part no's needed on this site years ago Removed all the plastic air ducting etc going to the stock airbox, adding corrugated hose to front bumper for a very generic "ram air idea" Cant say any of the basic maint/upgrades helped with HP but certainly cant hurt: Full synthetics in engine, transfer, differentials Replace fuel filter silverton was right, it definitely sounds good!

Any other opinions on mounts? Town, I replaced the shocks last year with the Gas A Just, nice improvement. Getting ready to order the KYB struts (they are now called Excel G per their website). Found them on amazon for about $73.50 each shipped. Havent found a better price yet.

anyone recommend best price for these and any comments on how many miles people have gotten before replacing originals? Already replaced rear shocks with Gas A Just and a pretty big difference. Hearing a clunk sound intermittently when going over bumps and figured it was time to replace struts.

Looks like the design has been changed. I believe the link was one of the cheapest and best mods I have done to the Path (not lifted).

Maybe they had some of the 3rd generation Quest bodies left, remove a sliding door, add a regular door, keep the styling Hideous and there u have it. The new puke a little in your mouth Quest Pathfinder. Interior looks pretty good though. Who knows, maybe it will compete well with the Chevy Transverse, Buick Eggclave, GMC Arcadia. I do see alot of the General SUV's on the road.
