  1. hate to bump an old thread, but does the AC front skid work with an ARB bumper on the R50?
  2. sorry to bump an old thread, but do you have any pics of how you mounted the GE lights? i really don't want to spend $350 on driving lights...
  3. Fourtheded, but only the part about the fluid flush. most likely, it's just moisture and/or air in the system.
  4. pete, here's to hoping our bumpers get here before Christmas!
  5. that is bad news indeed. does anyone know if the '00 model R50 also has a tcase pump driven by the front drive shafts?
  6. did you still need that center cap? i have some spares that came off a 2000 (3.3L), but i'm pretty sure my wheels are different than yours...
  7. snap-on is always expensive
  8. who would've thought a professional would have so much time that they could be an advanced DIYer when it comes to their vehicle? not me.
  9. it's not a racecar. if your engine is basically stock, use OE plugs and OE (or equivalent) plug wires. don't buy into the hype.
  10. lol, looks like you need that front bumper now more than ever!
  11. i tried emailing 4wheelparts and ARB last week, and still have not gotten a reply. but it is the weekend, i guess... do you have any updates, or are our bumpers still scheduled to get here mid/late august?
  12. i think it looks awesome! but if it were me, i'd paint that diamond plate gray or black. is this the same bumper as before, just with some small changes? what do you do with your other/older custom bumpers?
  13. ya, a winch is definitely not going to fit on that, nor is the bar capable of withstanding any type of winching load...
  14. i watched it also... if only i was as good of a welder as the show makes the host seem to be , i would have some nice pretty rear control arms like they ones he fab'd up today! i'll be tuning in next week to see if they include the truck again.
  15. stock is 255/65/16 on a '00. it says it on the vin plate inside my door jam.
  16. yep. i think a 245/75 is about as tall as a 265/70 which is what i'm running now. i too am planning on getting Revo's when my crappy Pathfinder-brand (Discount Tire Co) wear out.
  17. 2 months ago i got a recall notice in the mail about a leaky fuel filler hose. they said the rubber can deteriorate with prolonged exposure to cold and subsequent salting of the roadways. it was free to get it inspected, and of course free to fix as needed. i live in texas and didn't have that problem, but if you have a late-model R50 (i have a 00), it may be something to look into. free repairs ftw
  18. 245/70, 255/70, and 265/70 will all fit on your R50. i have 265/70 on my 00 pathy
  19. my 00 pathy has stock wheels: sooo, if anyone wants/needs the two center caps that i took off, pay for shipping and they're yours.
  20. so how did your install go? i just finished installing a set on my 00 pathy. it took about 25min start to finish for both sides. just pop off the center cap. then pop off the dust cap (it's not nearly as difficult as everyone makes it out to be). remove the 6 bolts that bolt the flange down. remove lock ring with lock ring pliers or needle nose pliers. remove flange by grabbing with vice grips or channel locks (i used the latter). then to install the hubs, just reverse the steps. tighten to specification. you don't even have to remove the wheels; at least, i didn't have to on mine.
  21. you should be able to get a trailer wiring harness for your pathfinder from wal-mart, target, or uhaul for <$20. it's actually really simple. you just splice into your existing tail lamp wiring. the most time consuming part of the installation is removing the bumper trim to hide the wires, and to route the wires between the steel bumper and plastic bumper to skin, for the cleaner install. overall it should only take about half an hour, and that's being generous. your pathfinder should have 5 wires going into the signal converter, which then outputs to a flat 4-way connector. the converter will convert the separate inputs for brake and turn signal, into a single output for the trailer because it uses the same bulb for brake and turn signal, while the pathfinder has a dedicated bulb for each circuit. any generic 4-way flat connector designed for vehicles with separate brake and turn signal lamps should work on your pathfinder.
  22. the bumper is the ARB Sahara. average market price is $1200 plus freight shipping.
