depends on the state. you can only hunt with .44 and .45 here. there a few other sizes legal in the black powder category.

you could also rebuild the thing. the cost is somewhere around $1k. depending on who does it and what actually got damaged.

well, they aren't that hard but a little more involved then rotors but you can do it. you'll need a flat shorty screwdriver to back them off, and then a pair of vice grips for dealing with the springs. i use a pair of pliers for removing the round ssprings. push in and turn. do one side at a time that way if something isn't jiving you can check the other side. good luck.

well, i got that part. it was some of the details that i couldn't decipher. anywhooo, the motor oil is not a bad idea at all. it would extend the life of the oil and thus positively effect the engine itself but like derogate mentioned the stock coolers are crap and i wouldn't want to risk it. installing another externall cooler would probably be the way to go.

well, where was the second prong connected? maybe you need to reconect that part. i think the noise is probably from both of them being combined into one. if i read this right.

not necessarily on the MAF. mine was clean also with a 112k on the clock. 42 seems to be the code for fuel temp. change it. that's probably your problem. that's the only way things will get better. don't ignore the codes. i don't think i have ever come accross one being wrong. ECU may not kick one out but when it does it's for certain. jeez..

if it's red ATF, if it's clearish then power steering fluid.

lol. yeah, don't get brain washed by rush or dr. laura. maybe your new deck needs a separate AM antenna? are you hooked up to the antenna in the windshield? (may not be the case with your truck)
