  1. switches: ashtray or below the stock radio. mine are in my centre consol and by my knees. there are indents there for fogs on wd21 models and i picked up some stock switches at j/y wires. i have my lights wired directly to the battery. pep boys and others carry these little brass tabs that hook on the positive terminal clamp's tightening bolt. these tabs also have spade male ends sticking from it. i think there are four. then i have a fuse in line and a relay. two separate virwuits and switches for the two different sets of lights. drill or not to drill, that is the question. your choice fo sho. i have seen it done both ways. if you have a roof rack you can make it invisable. i have also seen wires running to the door or the back hatch.
  2. how many miles on your truck? sure sounds like air in the lines or MC going if you're in 6 figure milage.
  3. now to the real business. sw, B, very good. j, no need to pull this again. i think this kind of tantrum is what irks peeps. search, yeah it sometimes sucks but look for relevant topics, learn how to use the function better also. there is a sticky on it somewhere in here also. whenever i look for something i read the posts in the search. if something sounds promising i open that thread in another tab. i keep doing that till i think i exhausted the search. i then look and read all of those threads. if it doesn't go anywhere then i move on to the next.. and so on.. yeah, it takes time and a lot of reading but you also learn a bunch of other stuff. sometimes i just look in my model specific forums. then sometimes i look in the others. you can look for a years worth of info. we have discussed a lot stuff here. sometimes mundane questions are asked. search is sometimes the best answer. nothing personal just best answer. and then you get a few goofy answers. is everyone you know serious all the time? i sure hope not. anyway, good luck j and don't be a stranger. ask away but please look around in the forums.
  4. kind of like the above.
  5. deep cycle. http://www.optimabatteries.com/publish/opt...automotive.html http://www.optimabatteries.com/publish/opt...commercial.html
  6. i have no noises except for some heat shields being loose and some mud being packed in everywhere.. before the last 4x outing i had none.
  7. btw. you need to update your FF.
  8. also search fog lights. this same and other wireing pics are there.
  9. vac for the levers only. the speeds are controlled by fan module of some sorts. there was another post about this in the last couple of days.
  10. mine was NGK and a 3 prong. just plug in and play.
  11. the stock one is part of the rad. look around on the forums. this topic (cooler) has been beat to a pulp.
  12. i thought you were talking about scratches.
  13. not really. i have mine still on but anybody who is lifted doesn't it makes your truck sway a little bit on cornering but you can learn to take it easier. it's coming off this summer though.
  14. you may have to pop out the controls. they are vac driven so something is loose prob.
  15. if the converter doesn't have a drain plug (not sure on nissans, some other cars do) it's kind of a pita then. definitely install the exernal cooler and by pass the stock one copletely. 15k? never seen it that dirty in any of my cars. i normally only change it when it looses the smell, color and/or slickness.
  16. just dump the sway bad and save some $$$ same here, glad you are keeping the truck.. addictive isn't it?
  17. passenger's side i paid around $40 for my sensor. it took me forever to replace it though. it was spot welded in there. it was a huge PITA. had to remove the x member etc... btw. it's a 22mm wrench
  18. i say do it especially if the atf is not pinkish red, doesn't smell "sweet" and isn't viscous.
  19. the dust he is talking about gets in even past the gaskets.
