  2. Cool ride buddy and welcome. Tbh if you've already done soo much to the truck yourself then letting a shop change out your springs is really a waste of that $150. It's really easy to do, an hour or 2 tops if you're new at that [emoji3] Whichever way you go should be fine. Crank this bad boy up. I drive a 1998 Terrano myself (Japanese R50) with a 2.7L turbo diesel. Have it about 11yrs now and the only mayor issues I've had with it is gearbox (had to replace it once), AC and radiator. It had 94K on the clock when I got it and should now be around 240-260K (gauges stopped working few years ago, couldnt find another that worked in my truck). Congrats with your pathfinder.... 3. So it's the bell housing is different on these trannies. My thought too, already saw one but just wanted to be sure. Thanxx Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi guys, Can anyone tell me if all RE4R01A transmissions are interchangeable? If I pull one off a Nissan Gloria or 2004 Nissan Pathfinder (either 2x4 or 4x4), can I put it on my 1998 Terrano (Japanese Pathfinder). My transmission is 2x4, but from what I've been told the only thing that sets a 2x4 apart from a 4x4 is the transfer case. So if I can get hold of a 2004 2x4 Pathfinder gearbox (RE4R01A), can I just take that, attach my transfer case and call it a day? I'm asking this cuz where I'm from there's NO Pathfinders or Terrano's in salvage yards (probably they're still running around on our roads), but there are other behicles which might carry the same RE4R01A transmission. If the above is correct then I could just source one from say a Nissan caravan with RE4R01A and bolt on my transfer case. All help appreciated, transmission acting up at the moment.
  5. So the RE4R01A from an Xterra isn't the same as that of an R50? Hmm I also own a '98 R50 and I was hoping I could do a "core" swap, maybe just changing out the bellhousing and transfer case onto the donor RE4R01A core. There are a few other vehicles which also carry this transmission and was hoping I could just go to a salvage yard and get a low mileage one. In my country a Pathfinder or Terrano is very hard to find at salvage yards, I think mainly cuz there still on the road (read: "bulletproof" haha).
  6. If anyone has one for TD27ETi (electronic injector pump) would be very much appreciated. Thanx, Arvin
  7. Which solenoid would that be if I may ask?
  8. I have a TD27Eti on mine. Has over 240K on it and still does 160km/h. Nice thing about this engine is that I don't need to worry about changing timing belt ?
  9. Who or where can I get these from? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
