  1. Thanks, I didn't know there was an R50 fb page, I'll be sure to check it out.
  2. http://m.imgur.com/8L2To0v Stock tires with 6" lift for those curious. I got the rear end all finished last night and couldn't resist.
  3. Does anyone know how much backspacing I will need on my new rims to keep them away from the front struts, and how much trimming will need to be done? All my panels are rotting out anyways and I will be making my own bumpers over the winter so hacking things up doesn't bother me at all. Nothing is ordered yet either, because I may end up just doing 33s.I've done a little looking around but from what I've seen most people have backed away from 35s because their bodywork has been worth keeping. Lucky me I guess!
  4. Thanks! I'm thinking I'll probably leave it in for the winter and pop it out this spring to see how I like it.
  5. So I'm well into my SFD now, and I'm wondering if there is any real reason to keep my front sway bar in? I figure the fact that it's an IFS vehicle might mean I need to keep it in, but not sure. I'm also putting in AC front coils so the front end should be quite stiff anyways I figure. I'm definitely taking the back one out but I figured I'd ask. Any insight is appreciated!
  6. Just like it sounds. I'm in the middle of doing my subframe drop and was wondering if there was any real reason to keep the front sway bar in there, besides stopping body roll. I'd like a little more articulation so I'll probably pop it out, but I figured I'd ask. TIA!
  7. I'm still on the stock tire size, but fingers crossed I'll be starting my sfd this weekend. Along with the AC lift coils and some cutting I'm looking to cram in 35s, or maybe 33s if it ends up being really tight. My plan is to see how it drives and go from there. I'm like you in the sense that I'd rather buy new parts and do it right the first time if need be. The way I see it is I want the tire size, and I have acknowledged I may have to fork out more cash for a re-gear so it won't be a surprise or a pain if I end up having to. I'll be sure to post up how it goes for me and what I end up doing.
  8. It appears that your site is down. I'd really love to be able to order a SFD kit, but if worst comes to worst I'll probably try to make my own. I've spent these last few days crossing my t's and dotting my i's for my pathy build, and I went to check out the krypton site to order the kit and now I'm finding out that they have stopped production
