  1. Is there a thread somewhere that shows the details of the SAS itself? After the short amount of time running the sfd/ac combo, im looking more into this.
  2. Awesome. Im guessing all you would need to do is put a gradual bend from front of the plate to back angling the plate back up to use the trans crossmember brackets. Either way, im sure you could make it work without loosing much clearance. Let me get some extra spending cash together and ill be in touch.
  3. Great news pal. Ill be ordering soon. Question about the 3rd plate (trans/transfercase skid). Are you producing a 4" subframe drop plate version for that too? Since the trans crossmember will be 4" higher than the crosslink. I dont want to loose the ground clearance at that point.
  4. Thanks for the sale John. Wait until you see what I do to her!
  5. Good move Virgil. I like the sound of that... and yes, Cathy is looking sexy with that bodacious bootay
  6. If you sell it, you will regret it. All the headaches will turn into missed memories, of how you built a rig with average capability up to hang with the big boys... and in some cases, embarrass them when they cant keep up. I miss my X like crazy and i originally sold it to eventually get a Rubicon. The Pathy represents a certain level of achievement. Keep her as your overlander and put 37s on the jk!
  7. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a cad file for these mounts or something similar?
  8. Heeps are nice rigs, a little too small inside for me, but they are very capable stock. Just be mindful of cheap parts. Check out Mainline Overland's White Rubicon! Theres and awesome build thread of it on ExpoPortal. I personally love the steel mopar wheels they went with along with the AEV tirecarrier and spare fuel tank! Good luck with the new build!
  9. Im going to be using locators with the lower pigtails. I believe I only "have to" cut the upper wj pigtail off right? The plan is to use 5/8" hardware, unless thats overkill. Heres a pick of the locators and some brackets (not my kit, but one of the kits in progress)
  10. Great progress bud! Call me if you need some help.
  11. Great pics buddy. Cant wait to wheel mine!
  12. Can anyone send me some pics of what they did for a PHB Drop bracket with there SFD lifts please. Im looking for ideas and I would like to see what was done in the past. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  13. And I just found this: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/40356-pre-installation-check-up-before-getting-an-sfd/?p=773330&do=findComment&comment=773330
  14. Dude, I just found this. I'm voting you in as the "Father of modding the R50 Platform". Thank you again for investing the time into this.
  15. Before I open this up, I would like to give a special "thank you" to Hawairish, CDNS4, and Rick13 for all of the help and guidance they have given me in such a short period of time! I'm looking for some help on this fellas, and ladies (I know there's at least one on this forum) . I am trying to get my SFD setup squared away for a run I have on the 19th of March and I'm looking for a complete list of hardware to perform the swap. The kit is basically a remaid 4" KrFab kit. I can figure out the panhard bracket, but I need all subframe hardware and rear WJ coil mount hardware. I know I'm asking a lot here, but I'm down to the wire on this and I would really like to test it at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in PA on the 19th. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!!! Help me get Roxanne ready!!! Thanks again!!!
  16. Looking forward to this build. Seems like you are on your way buddy!
  17. Awesome bud! Watching that vid is making me so jealous! Cant wait to get back on the trail!
  18. Great info here. Did anyone end up using these extended struts?
  19. Any major reasons why you guys run the KYB struts over the OME?
  20. Interesing project. My question is, why not weld them in? You would no longer need a spacer or collar, and there would be no side load issues. It seems like that would have been easier. Great job none the less. Also, have you figured out why it cant work in the 00-04 r50s? I dont see the complication if it was welded.
  21. What great info! Im interested to see where you go with this buddy. Excellent read!
