  1. Mine, a 2000 manual gear, 3.3l, previous owner did a full engine repair at 240.000km (150.000miles), at 260.000km i broke 2 valve lifters.. have to replace them all 12, and re build the camshafts... So far.. it has been a great ride, have done some  "long" trips with my family (2.500km - 1.550m), now it has 278.000km (173.000m). Did MAF replacement (Altima OEM), 1.5" spring lift, and some minor stuff... And...We are thinking not to sell it... for now...

Nissan Geniune MAF sensors for a Maxima are a direct replacement and costs less than the rock auto daily driver category parts.

This topic is covered in detail in the pinned topics thread "Cheap 01+ MAF sensor problem fix!"

Make sure to to get the correct unit for your year as they change

TowndawgR50, Thanks for the info... but does it work only for 3.5L engine?

Are you asking if that is the correct one?

In general RockAuto has great prices, and Hitachi is generally the OEM for many electronic parts on Nissans so it is a safe "generic" to use.

    They have cheaper options to....

  4. Those two months had been changing and repairing parts from the pathy... on June two valve strikers broke, no mayor damage... Had to change all the valve strikers and repair one camshaft, no damage on the engine.

Since they have to disassemble the engine, we change the knock sensor (it had 0325 code) with an OEM sensor... After that... again... 0325 code... so....

One moth ago, I went to gas inspection, did not pass... We found that all the injectors we dirty, clean them up... and all the injectors start to leak... I change the injectors with Hitachis... and change again the knock sensor with one that my mechanic had.... Again.. 0325 code... We verified the cables, conductivity, etc.. and it is good.. no problem with that... Ask with another mechanic about sensors and told me that maybe some OEM sensors may not be read by the ECU... because of materials, construction, frequency, etc...

So I decide to buy the original.. (Hitachi) I bought at RockAuto.... Installed... And again... 0325 code...

Maybe is how the mechanic install the sensor, should the two cables that comes out of the harness have to be welded... or just one cable and ground (screw)

What should I do... Ignore the code?

    Thanks

  5. The weird vibration continues, not so much but still, the smell of gasoline too... and O2 sensor code P0150 (bank 2 sensor 1)...
Today i went to the mechanic.... I had told him about the weird vibration and gasoline smell, and the code... So...

He did a what we call here "synchronization" clean parts, change spark plug, change cables, clean injectors, etc...

  6. Delta50, Bobbyyy (I use google translator)... I thing al my metal parts are in good shape and rust free... i know the performance of the truck with poly is going to be little harder/solid, and durability of poly is much much longer than rubber...

Should I continue with my rubber/standar bushings... Or jump to poly?

  7. Yep, AC = Automotive Customizers = 4x4parts.com. Though, that's always been their name and website for as long as I can remember (late 90's). Everything before that is a blur.

I'm presuming there's some difficulty getting things to Colombia. Thought I'd look into it, thinking maybe I could help. Looks a bit more difficult than other things I've shipped internationally.

But, if you must have poly, you may need to look to Australia or a distributor for Whiteline or SuperPro. I'm not seeing the front bushing for the LCA, only the rear LCA and trailing arms. SuperPro has all three styles:

    SPF4671K - LCA front

    SPF2037K - LCA rear

    SPF0399K - Trailing arms

Is it difficult to even get OE replacements?

I tried to send the set of poly bushings to a cargo in NY, I had been buying stuff and send it there so they send me the stuff to Colombia, really good price and fast shipping... But at 4x4parts they do not send to a different address from the billing address... I tried to change it fron paypal... Not possible...

I was looking for distributors of those companies but it is difficult to have them shipped here...

About OE replacements here... we have a lot... It is easy to find them but they are really expensive... But I want to change to poly... For now, I thing I would buy the part I need, until I find how to buy the full set of poly...

  8. I use the PSB ones for my trailing arms. Well priced, got them off eBay.

The purple ones that AC sells are from SuperPro, a reputable AUS brand. I run those up front, as well. I couldn't find a better price for them than AC, so that's where I got them.

Have had both sets installed for about 2 years now. No complaints.

Which is the web site of AC?

I tried to buy from 4x4parts but I was impossible... Long story...

I really need poly front and rear bushings...

    Thanks.
