  1. http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18981166-pathfinder-suspension-package.html Looking at this kit for mine. Anyone have any thoughts? Maybe this could also help the original poster.
  2. I was under the impression that the XE stock 15s wont hold the 31x10.50's for safety reasons?
  3. Looks great man. I was hoping to see one like that without the fender flares as mine doesnt have them. Thanks a bunch. Is that the 4 inch
  4. Thank you so much for the info and yeah i finally got it cleared up thanks. Is anyone on here running the AC 2inch lift with 31's? Curious to see what that would look like or if i need to plan on larger tires. The jeep I had previously had a 4.5 inch lift with 31's and I loved it. It was a jeep zj for reference but it allowed for alot of flex on the trails and didnt look odd with the fender gap.
  5. So after doing some research and all im still confused. Im going with 31x10.50r15's. Im getting new 15x8 wheels but im still unsure on the backspacing. I plan on lifting in the end anyway but for right now keeping it stock. Which backspacing is better? 3.75 or 4.00 and can someone please explain or show me the visual difference?
  6. Ok so after noticing that my Path had a little lean in its stance very slight mind you I did some measuring. The side to side difference is about an inch to an inch and a half towards the drivers side. So I know im gonna have to go into the suspension so I was trying to get an idea, am i looking at new coils and all or should new struts and shocks fix this issue? Like i said its not very noticeable from looking at it i guess i just caught it just right to see it. Thanks in advance.
  7. Nevermind i just saw this! I will try these numbers and see what i come up with.
  8. Ok so just checked out courtesy parts website and maybe its just their diagram but im having a hard time getting the correct part numbers for the bolts and nuts. I know that 4 bolts are long and 4 are short plus i think there is other differences too. I do agree that OEM is the better way to go. But that diagram is putting a butt whooping on my eyes!
  9. It might have been something i did but when i clicked on the link nothing happend?
  10. I decided to go with the link i was given. I aint trying to cut corners but really wasent looking to blow the bank. Thanks for the info!
  11. Looking to find the exact size of the rear control arm bolts both upper and lower for a 1998 Pathy xe. If I can im going thru Fastenal or maybe another supplier I have heard mentioned on here but cant seem to find the post. I did do a search and have come up with no useful info. I also tried downloading the FSM and it didnt work either. Please help!
  12. Handle your basics first, then go for the body. No point in having form over function. Im in the same boat as i want to dive into ALL KINDS of mods to my stock pathy but I have some TLC that must come first then once my other project car is done I am starting with lift and wheels and tires the the body mods. Just my 2 cents.
  13. I plan on keeping the same new wheels but my question is this, as far as backspacing goes im not worried about how much the tire sticks out to a certain degree. Which backspacing would give me more clearance as far as strut to tire and other items that i may run into? 3.75 or 4?
  14. Also check when you drive it to see if it has what I have found is a common issue with R50's over 140,000 miles and thats the rear upper and lower control arm bushings. Trust me you will know if they are bad as you will get what is known as the "death wobble" when going down the road. Not a hard fix as im fixing to do mine. Just bought new upper and lower control arms with new bushings already installed for ease of installation. Just my 2 cents.
  15. Thanks for all the advice. Im thinking now im going to play it safe and just do some nice 31's on new 15x8's. Maybe a 2 inch lift down the road when I replace the struts and shocks. Seems like 31's will be better since it is also a daily driver. Thanks for all the great input guys!
  16. Looking at tires and was wondering what all is required to run and clear a 32x11.50r15 tires on the R50?
  17. Great find man! Looks pretty solid for the price.
  18. Awesome! ok now that i got the spacer stuff figured out, what about rear shocks? Im looking at the 2 inch spacer lift for the rear so im assuming i need longer shocks. Any part numbers for easy reference?
  19. Ok thanks for the info! So being that I have no idea how old these struts are im thinking it would be safe to say they need replacing. Now Where can i find those spacers?
  20. Sorry to seem confused, but I too looked at the pacers as well as the OME prings. Am I correct in understanding I could buy just the OME springs for front and rear and get the list? Or is it required to do spacers as well or struts? Again im completely new to Pathfinders and still learning so apologies up front for my ignorance.
  21. Ok so again im new to Pathfinders. Mine is an R50 to use the correct terminology lol and I am considering going the manual hub route. I notice some of the post mentions stud kit? My plan is to run 31x0.50r15's in the future on 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing rims. As of current I don't "plan" on a lift but who knows lol. Anyway I have only done one set of manual hubs before and they were just a replacement install so this should be new territory to me.
  22. So after seeing this thread and doing some research im thinking im going with the procomp simulock black wheels in 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. No fender flares here so im wondering how much they will stick out. As for tires im looking at the Treadwright 31x10.50r15 Guard Dogs. I had them before on my Jeep and loved them so I think they will be great on the Pathfinder.
  23. AWESOME! Just have to say as a first time Pathfinder owner this thread has been a n inspiration for me as far as making mine more functional as well as capable. Love how this thing has came together. gets better every time i see it. Keep up the good work!
