  1. Awesome! ok now that i got the spacer stuff figured out, what about rear shocks? Im looking at the 2 inch spacer lift for the rear so im assuming i need longer shocks. Any part numbers for easy reference?
  2. Ok thanks for the info! So being that I have no idea how old these struts are im thinking it would be safe to say they need replacing. Now Where can i find those spacers?
  3. Sorry to seem confused, but I too looked at the pacers as well as the OME prings. Am I correct in understanding I could buy just the OME springs for front and rear and get the list? Or is it required to do spacers as well or struts? Again im completely new to Pathfinders and still learning so apologies up front for my ignorance.
  4. Ok so again im new to Pathfinders. Mine is an R50 to use the correct terminology lol and I am considering going the manual hub route. I notice some of the post mentions stud kit? My plan is to run 31x0.50r15's in the future on 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing rims. As of current I don't "plan" on a lift but who knows lol. Anyway I have only done one set of manual hubs before and they were just a replacement install so this should be new territory to me.
  5. Welcome, would love to hear more about you and your ride lol!
  6. So after seeing this thread and doing some research im thinking im going with the procomp simulock black wheels in 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. No fender flares here so im wondering how much they will stick out. As for tires im looking at the Treadwright 31x10.50r15 Guard Dogs. I had them before on my Jeep and loved them so I think they will be great on the Pathfinder.
  7. AWESOME! Just have to say as a first time Pathfinder owner this thread has been a n inspiration for me as far as making mine more functional as well as capable. Love how this thing has came together. gets better every time i see it. Keep up the good work!
  8. I was wondering if there are any trail rides in the NC area coming up this summer. Im not looking for mudding just some nice trail rides to enjoy with the family.
  9. Pondering the wheel and tire combo im going with

  10. Unfortunately they are the 15x6.5s. So that being said im looking to go bigger/wider on the tires with these wheels mainly for looks as well as beach driving. What does that put my options as far as other tires sizes i can safely run?
  11. Thanks, its a pretty good starting point and I plan on adding more pics soon. The weather hasent really be nice here!
  12. Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah its currently sitting on 235/75r15s. I would like to go up to 31's but my factory wheels are the limiting factor on that so im thinking that a set of 15x8 black steelies may be in the future. Right now im working on a few tlc issues. It throwed a code P0420, the exhaust from cats back needs trplacing ats its got some rust and holes. The lower control arms for the rear are also on my list as per my research it appers they are causing my "death wiggle/wobble". Other than that and a new cv axle the truck is in great shape. It turns out its actually a 1998 and im thinking its an xe model. All factory except radio. Heres a pic from the day i brought it home.
  13. I know this is an older thread and i couldnt find an answer in the search. I have a 1998 Pathfinder im assuming its an SE, Chrome factory wheels, 5 speed 4x4. My question is will the factory rims allow for 31's with no lift or do i have to buy different rims? Thanks in advance.
  14. Will do. I will post pics tomorrow when I bring it home!
  15. Nice looking ride man! Its always a plus to find one that someone has taken care of and not beaten it to death! Should give you lots of enjoyment with minimal trouble.
  16. Hello to all! First time Pathfinder owner here though not new to the offroad or forum scene. Coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee as well as a Forum Moderator from another forum. My name is Matt and I am purchasing my first Pathfinder tomorrow! Im thinking its a 1997 SE model. Not sure as I dont know really anything about Pathfinders yet but intend to learn. Mainly buying it because my S10 was too small to haul around me, the wife, and a kid especially with another on the way! My other reason is because I know the history and who had this vehicle so I know it has always been well maintained and never abused. I look forward to talking with you guys and gals and learning as much about Pathfinders as I learned during my time with my Jeep. Goals for this project are basic, mainly making it more enjoyable and capable for the wife and I as well as the kids to enjoy on the weekends and small excursions. I will need all the help I can get as far as info goes on these. I have had trouble finding out what kind of diffs they put in these things. I do know I plan on running 31x10.50R15 tires and maybe some Simulock style rims. Throw on a brush guard and maybe some other accessories. All input/advice is always welcome!
