  1. Yeah it would be a good idea to replace all of the hoses with new fuel injection rated hose. It'll run on average $2 a foot but is tough and wont deteriorate.
  2. The A1 Cardone axles are remain on the (60) series numbers. But if you get the Cardone select axles (66 at the start of the part #) they are new. Pretty big difference just looking at them. Good quality steel and obvious machining. One pretty good reman company I've found working parts counter is Autotech Engineering. I've never had one come back yet on any application out there. I wish they made a bullet proof upgrade out there! Empi is good too if you can find them. I need to do mine bad! As I'm currently doing the same job you're working on (saved up the dough for all Moog parts finally!) But I'm not sure I want to steer away from factory units either unless they are beast lol.
  3. Got into a wreck with an SVC about two years ago (cut the front of the car near in half with factory brush guard! Nissan 1 Subaru 0) it threw my alignment off a bit and bent the compression rod on the drivers side, a little damage to the grandstand bumper but not too bad. Well I've slowly been putting time and money into rebuilding the front steering and suspension, so far only got 30% or so finished. Shoulda been quicker because it aappears that putting the control arm bushing on the back burner was not smart. Took out both upper and lower ball joints I had installed two months ago. So tomorrow I'm saying eff it and finally going to fix everything at once! I had gathered most the parts up before today but haven't had time. Now let's see if I can finish the gauntlet! Wish me luck!
  4. We sell a brand called WONH (Taiwan) that are life time warranty, New, and cheap lol. $60 a shaft (or around $37 my Cost). I'm a little sketchy on using them myself. But if anyone is down in Vancouver,WA let me know and I can hook it up lol. My cost on RS 5000 Rancho's is around $39 each too! Let me know if you guy's need anything and I can try and get it inexpensive. Been selling parts for 10 years.
  5. I tried ordering a set from our local DNJ vendor from the parts store I work at and they are no longer available.
  6. Hey guys this thread is awesome! I have a 95 SE A/T and have been working in auto part sales for the last 10 years (whole adult life I'll admit). I have been pushing the valvoline max-life for years because it's wide range of compatibility with all different manufacturers. I recently discovered Castrol Transmax. Didn't pay alot of attention to it at first until a customer asked me about it. I noticed right away that instead of covering just about everything it seemed to be more geared to Japanese transmissions. I did a little research and found that in comparison it carries fewer "fillers" just as excessive friction modifier which can interfere with heat dissipation from what I've been told. It is the same price too. My SE has 280k miles and the original transmission, I'm going to give the Castrol a chance and see how it goes. I'm thinking about adding Lubeguard platinum to helping keep things smooth. Any of you have any advice or experience with these products?
  7. The Rio 's are notorious for timing belts breaking or skipping teeth. I worked in a Kia parts dept for 6 years (Don't judge me it was a job and paid well at 19 years old haha). There was a period of when we would multiple Rios a week brought in on a flatbed. We used to make wagers on mileage and if was going to be customer pay or warranty lol. I would check that first. And I would call a dealership service dept and have them run your VIN for any open recalls or campaigns.'m I believe the00-02 had about 6!
