if all 4 are dead I would look at a head unit or amp issue. The Bose system has a external amp for rear speaker and the head unit power the front two. I don't know how the non-Bose system operates -

R50 Tire Carrier Mod: Let's settle this!
xxLOUDOGxx replied to hawairish's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I was at a local junk yard and I saw one on a pathfinder. The only draw back was it was missing the latch brackets on the bumper. I think I'll go back and pick it up on my lunch break this week. I've been following this build. I'm very thankful for the wright up. -
Welcome. I'm in Littleton also.

Glad you found the forum and welcome. The F Sport is sexy

that's good you got it all sorted out. I have 1.5 hub centric wheel spacers on mine. like you said, you pay a little more but worth it in the long run.
-
looks good. glade you got it sorted out

It's from krfabs.
-
looks good. I went with rear 1 inch lift spacer adapter and rear 4 inch jeep lift springs. I get just a tad of u joint vibration at highways speeds when not loaded.
-
If your wheels are not hub centric, then that's your problem. The hub is what centers your wheel. it is possible to perfectly center your wheel with the lug nuts. but from experience. hub centric or you get a shimmy! I've been working at dealerships for 20yrs. do you still have your stock wheels? if so put them on and drive it
-
Tires and axles are what usually cause a shimmy. I had a shimmy at 65mph. it was my front drive shaft. that's easy to diagnose. just remove it. and drive it. Are you wheels hub centered?(centric)

Do I bought it back. Replaced the radiator, a/c condenser, hood and soon to have a new sick bumper installed Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

I think its a personal preference. I mount my on my bumper. but its exposed to the elements.

Have you looked into airlift bags to help with the extra weight? I had some on mine. when I loaded the pathfinder down for camping, I'd add a few psi to bring the rear up from the added weight.
