It's been awhile since I left, I just remember chopping down trees, fireworks and beer. Wish I could get back out there for a tasking and bring my Pathy along.

I wanna say Crappy Tire can order them, but I'll ask at Fountain Tire next time I go in.

Oooh oh oh WE NEED PICTURES!

I'm liking where yours is going, making me wish mine didn't have rusted wheel arches

Damn good call on quoting both because that's a great looking change!

New nissan 1999 pathy... good car?
lerch641 replied to sunovertone's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I've got about 360,000 km's on mine, but since I got it its become apparent that the previous owner did very little maintenance. So give yours a good going over. Belts and plugs, struts and shocks, filters and light bulbs, etc.. -
Looks good bud, certainly fits the lines at a glance.

Which crossbars did you go with? I was looking for something lower to replace my stock set but nothing really popped out.

Yup, 4x4design makes a spacer for a good price. He's on here too and just take a look at his thread; http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/37075-the-final-word-on-lifting-the-r50-at-a-low-cost/page-5?do=findComment&comment=727038

There has been the odd modified Xterra roof rack fitted to an R50 or WD21.

Picked up my fifth wheel, and installed my Warn manual hubs.

Bigger tires? I'd wait till after you get them if you get an alignment done. Where'd you order your roof basket from?
-
They do, pretty sure he's lookin front axle SAS.

The closest one for me is going to Alberta, bummer. Good collection of trails though, gonna have to try one next summer during vacation. Oops just saw the TCAT. Yup, hello September plans!

People just have an odd need for unnecessary privacy on the internet. You are correct in all your points, and the internet is an nonsensical place sometimes.

Took my buddy offroading with his Jeep (he's new and just bought a 4-door). My engine has been running rough for a couple days and I was planning on pulling the plugs to check them this weekend, but driving out today and it was misfiring BAD. So after getting out to one of the dust bowls I told him to have fun and popped my hood. Tightened all my plugs one by one, until I got to...#1? The front passenger side. Anyway, turns out the distributor cable to that one was coming apart. I squeezed it all back and got home and now I'm gonna be ordering a new set. Run smoothly right now though so that's a problem solved and a good day on the trails

I think I'll go with that style of window deflectors next.

Good find on those trails, I remember there were a few south of Fredericton (Lost Lake I think) and under the power lines.
-
Can you turn it over? If not then you probably hydrolocked it.
-
So when you got it, there was no carrier but I'm guessing there were holes to mount it? It's got the right hatch for one. And like CDN_S4 said, Fluery's spacers are good for a budget. You can get a couple inches lift using them.

1997 & 2000 parts interchangable?
lerch641 replied to muddfildvaynes's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
The mounts are the same but IIRC the lip below the grill on the facelifted R50 is higher than the pre-facelift. Or maybe it's vice versa, I can't remember now. -
I picked up an interim roof basket from Princess Auto, can't recall the make, but it's nice and light with about 35" across the inside and cost $125.

One of my old bosses loved sending new guys to get 710 fluid for the trucks. Or exhaust silencers.

Projectors can be find on ebay sometimes for about $400-500 per side. Not sure about the badges.
