There's two of each at my local jy at the moment but an engine build isn't in the catds right now for me as i have to rebuild the suspension all the way around
-
Yeah it would especially for the different sound from the bigger cams and valves
I wonder if vq cams and valve rods and parts would swap over as a cam upgrade like you can do to the chevy engines
-
You will need spacers to fit anything bigger than stock size tire on stock rimsIt says I need aftermarket wheels with 3.75 negative backspace, I don't have the money for that+ the lift , would it fit with my stock rims do you kno?

https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-19962004-pathfinder-c-435_437_341_8.htmlOh wow on google maps it didn't look like that bad of a trail guess it wouldn't work with my stock truck lol, just a quick question about your pathy from nh , I see you went with ac coils , could you link me to the coils? Still deciding on a lift ome is a little too expensive for me . Did you need spacers to fit the coils? Thanks for the info!

Just wondering if i could swap heads off a vq35 to a vg33 i am not familiar to the way nissan does there engines as i was raised working on gm 305 and 350s
The reason i ask is that on gm motors you can swap 350 heads and camshaft to get more power and a different sound out of a 305
Wondering if its possible with nissan engines

Are you puting them on ypur new one or selling them and what condition
-
Do you have the wood grain arm rests in the doors?

Because my pathfinder runs fine no skips or weird noises or anything like that power is fine i took it to a shop and they ran it on some machine that checks the engine when its running for issues and it didn't pick up any issues so they said i didn't need to replace it if i didn't want to as it wasn't causing issues with the motor

I think there might be somthing else wrong with yours as i get around 17 with oversized tires (32") and bad knock sensorI went from 10mpg to around 13.5 overall average. I did it the right way though, taking off all of the intake manifold, and replaced it, non of that relocation malarkey.

The knock sensor dosent cause the engine to run differently mine has been bad since i got mine (aug 2013) and it runs fine

So i went to my local jy today and picked up to brand new looking strut/coil setup. I almost bought the rear arms as they look new to but you can twist them by hand but the suspension is fully extended so i was wondering if they should rotate like that as mine (that the bushings are shot in) i cant move, but the suspension,is under load (tires on ground not jacked up at all)

Im pretty sure the front bumper off a frontier will bolt up to a r50 as the 98 body style has the same body lines for the fenders and hood
And the the plastic part has the same mount spots (as referring to my hanes manual)
-
Yeah but you were just wondering about wd21 to r50s
-
How bout we thread jack this into parts that will interchange between pathys xterra and frontiers

-
Ok thanks i think taptalk is having issues because i just read another thread that the person used taptalk and it posted multiple posts
-
Oops double post

So my suspension is shot all the way around and I am replacing the rear coils with ones from kyle94 but i was wondering how i could test front coils and struts because there is a 00 at my local jy with new looking kyb struts and i would like to test them before i install them
-
What are you running suspension/lift wise im running 1.5 spacers and sagging coils so the 32s rubbed at half.crank
-
So last year i ran 32 x 11.5 x 16 green diamond mud terrains if anybody knows of them you know that they are great tires but the owner of the company is flakey and hard to get a hold of i live in his area and he is still hard to find and that is my issue he's gone again and i need tires so i was looking at 31x10.5x15 Mickey Thompson Baja claw radials as there the same tread as the green diamonds i was wondering. What do you guys like to run in the winter that is not snow only tire i need something that is great in deep snow and deep slush as that is mostly what i see in my area
-
Offroad event or car show?
-
Im not runing 305s but i have rims with 3" bs and i stick about 1-2" past the fender with 31x10.5x15 but when i run my mudders that have same bs but a much narrower tire i only stick out about an inch

Are the rotors and calipers from a facelifted pathy inter changeable with non face lifted ones?
