do you need a ball joint press like most vehicles to change them i read you instructions and you didn't use one

So i cheacked and if you un wrap the wires i think theres enough wire to get them there and theres nothing there that will catch/cut/pinch the wiresI was confused what you meant by that, thorpe until I looked at my pathfinder and CDN_24's picture. You MIGHT be able to but I think you will need to pop the entire plastic assembly out to see for yourself to make sure nothing gets in the way of the wires. I guess you could do a basic small zapstraps on the top of the inside of the casing to fix that problem. Might be a feasible swap.
I will have to look at that because I am still trying to figure out where to put my CB radio and do not want to take out the single box (i have the single din deck) where I keep my rounds and whatever I need on hand right away.
By the way CDN_24, is that a garmin etrex on your automatic shifter? If so, nice choice. I got one and love it but where did you get the band for it? would love to have something like that for my treks.
Nissan_Boston, for the cobra microphone, you can get away with a velcro strap that sticks to the trim if you don't want to drill any holes through it. I wouldn't use screws personally just in case if I ripped the microphone off with pieces of the trims haha...

I plan on using these with new bolts to hold down my cheap walmart roof rack when i get it
If its wide enough im going to drill the roof rack and bolt through it if its not im going to use some sort of like light mount that has a round piece to flat
-
this is of the mount
from the side with the lights. Theres 4 of the lights
From the back
-
I did somthing similar to make my rack for lights but i took 1/8" aluminum by 3/4" and drilled and taped it to make mine stay in the channel

For a quick fix just put a cheap.walmart tip that points down on there will mabey cost you 10 bucks

Well i might go buy it tomarro and pull mine apart (off of the road for suspension rebuild)
-
Thats what i thought dang it haha is it just a different connector or different reading style cause if its a different connector but same wires i would swap it
on my gmc cut and spliced a whole fuse box with no issues because the po fried a few spots where he used wire instead of a fuse

Nissan gtr dodge ram pick up ford powerstroke ford raptor chevy reaper

All depends on what look is he going for if he wants a off road look sure go with the pro comps but if he wants a more street/non offroad look the stock newer ones may look betterI'd just get pro comp rims and a pair of bfgoodrich all terrains, the pro comps will help its image a lot, as far as having the OEM rims on oppose to the pro comps.
