  8. yes miss print lol I'm so dumb. Ring and Pinion needs replaced 1/8 play is it easy for someone that has not done it before.
  9. Has anyone replaced the rack and pinion gears in the front end out of 87 wd21? How hard is it to do? I have about 1/8 play in the front diff where the front drive shaft is. I found a rack and pinion set for 315 but I have another 88 pathy with the same gears. should I just sway the whole axle housing or just buy a new set
  10. just weld the rear not front you will brake axles
  11. Good luck with that I need to do the same with my vg30i. I was told to use a 2.7l air box out of a pathy but most are across seas as far as what I have seen. I was thinking of using a heavy duty rubber 90 degree tube with pipe clamps for the tbi and feed it to a universal air box snorkel kit that has an filter and then feed it out the drivers side finder and rap the body to the top. But have not done it do to the money not in hand right now
  12. After all this talk I hope he uploads some pic of he's work. Before and after pic would be nice
  13. I have about 50k on my new motor that I order from Japan so every thing still good and not out of time or broken. I'll try this summer and hope for the best
  14. I use 10w 40 Castrol for summer and 10w 30 Castrol for winter and have no problem with my engine
  15. Yes tires will go a little faster but I'm always rotating my tires for even tread. I will not lock the front do to I know I would break the front end for sure for the wheeling I do with it.
  16. Should with a little mods done to both ends if you have a stock pipe.
  17. One thing about a wd21 is if you can dream it it can be done. Go for it and get one you will love it
  18. Love it I will print and give to the guy for a good laugh.
  19. Like ahardbOdy said do one side at a time and do not rush your self to save time. I know working on this things are not easy sometimes and I'm happy to see people trying to do there own work. Props to all people that try
  20. look up hard cord fabs section for sas on the pathy lot of info for all years of pathys
  21. Yes tire wear I have but not a big deal for me like it might be for others
  22. I have not seen any post on welded rear axles so here it is. I did a disk brake swap and when I was there I welded the rear spider gears. I hear people say don't do that if it's a daily driver but I did it anyways. Works great and no problem with my axles breaking. I don't run into many spots where I have to back up when turning in a parking lot. Just go slow and when it starts chirping and let off the gas so you don't bind your axles shafts. I've had my axle welded for a year now and I wheel the crap out of it with no axles breaking.
