  1. We are going to get a 2014 Platinum, they are freaking sweet and the wife loved it so hopefully in a month or 2 we will be getting it
  2. We test drove a few today for the wife, she fell in love love love with it... I told her we could be twinsies, her look was priceless and the comment was along the lines of apples to rotted worm infested apples... If ain't American at least it's a Nissan, they also had an AWD NISMO juke all " murdered " out kinda cute in a California short-shorts way
  3. Hmmm, new 3.5 in a WD... Opinion? Don't think the wife would like me chopping up her new car
  4. We are getting the pathfinder, it's very nice and still has an SUV feel just gonna be a little while from now
  5. So it's her birthday and we want to expand our family with 2 kids already we need a little more room for a family vehicle... First stop Nissan. For the new pathfinder, then dodge then chevy and gmc... This is gonna be fun
  6. must be for a power antenna but mine is stationary... thanks
  7. ahh no more blasting speakers, finally a sweet melody from Juliet

  8. It's in the right rear access panel where the amp and light pigtail is...
  9. Hey guys I want to put a voltmeter and oil gauge on the 94... Where is a good sending unit spot for the oil? Also I want to put a oil relocation kit on, but I want one that works with the pacesetter headers... It's a 5 speed if it makes a diff on kit/ location
  10. No I backed into one leaving my house, I was avoiding the wife's car and over compensated
  11. Also if you are sliding around tapping on your brake can work to lock it up too... And also I know now I seriously need to reinstall the axle bump stops
  12. Yeah a great Monday luckily 4x4 is just a shift away
  13. Idk I guess the po had ground issues cause he ran that blue wire from the maf to a ground. The shield wire was just chilling bit hooked up
  14. That bare wire is a shield ground. Stopped the morning miss
  15. Oh no, gates timing kit and hoses. new water pump all bought from the local Oreilly
  16. Well after several runs down the street and long idles in the driveway ( rather have something happen at home) I drove the dog crap out of it today gave it no mercy... Figured rather have it brake today when I'm off then Monday morning otw to work... Driving like a champ!
  17. The slight miss was seemingly caused by what I call a shield wire not connected to the maf ground wire I can take a pic and maybe get it posted ?
  18. Hey guys I have had a slight erratic miss until the engine temp gets normal since I have owned it . Any ideas? I've just got through doing the timing belt and hoses etc. Do I have a ghost problem?
  19. Timing belt: check Water pump:check A million vacuum, water, and fuel hoses check... My wonderful pathy is back in the game hell yeah!!thanks to all the people who have contributed on this forum that has spread their knowledge
  20. Ok so I am content with my little 3.0, but if it ever goes out I want to install a chevy 6 cyl. I know people have done it but I am looking for some in depth knowledge. I have a 94 5 speed manual 4x4...
  21. Yeah I changed it all ( bypass hose was a pita)... Everything I've put into that beast and it is still only retail about $800; but heck it's brand new practically and I can kick just about any jeeps behind that doesn't have thousands dumped into it
  22. So I am halfway with my little " tune up" and after last weeks little Incedent I decided to be proactive... Change the timing belt. To my surprise it had been changed at least once in 200k miles but the tensioner was original... It was about to crater by the sound of the bearing. Anyways now to replace the 400 vacuum lines under the intake and also the valve cover gaskets... Yay me
  23. Hey guys the manual says to loosen the rocker arms when changing timing belt, is this necessary ? Also anyone know the thread pitch and size for the timing cover ? I had the typical bottom one missing... Also who ever did the belt before didn't align it properly... The line that had FR was lined on the driver side, which I guess is the right when looking at motor. Also I cannot find my crank alignment spot on the block... Any ideas
  24. IT'S ALIVE HAHAHA!!! The dist. Rotor set screw backed out... Therefore causing random fires that sounds like when timing is messed up. Yay for not having to rip half a motor apart
