Kinda cool and funny but that poor truck started out nicer than mine on the outside anyway -

I know that there's nothing to adjust in the rear on our trucks but apparently there is on some vehicles i can't remember the price for just front it was only like $50 though
-
I finally found a place that does good work at a good price ($68 for front and rear) still frustrating to have a business refuse to take your money. and idk if i would even atempt my own alignment but thats just me
-
I actually had 3 local shops refuse to do an alignment on mine 1 said "cuz its an import" i pointed out the Mitsubishi eclipse in the shop getting an alignment right then he said "well that's an import car yours is truck" i then pointed out the 4 runner and titan waiting in line told him he was full of it and that i'd find somewhere else that wanted my money

I don't think that they will rub the flares especially after re-indexing the t-bars but i do think that it will look better without them bigger tires is just an excuse to remove em
-
Once i get my 31s I'm going to just remove my fender flares
-
Mine is that supper dark grey almost black but she's destined for a black bed liner paint job with smoked lenses darkest tint the law will alow and maybe some blue led under glow
-
i was trying to remove the plug it was very stuborn as i said b4 and i heard a loud metallic popping sound then the plug (or atleast the ceramic part) just kinda spun around freely i assumed the worse.slammed the hood called my truck a few choice names smoked a cigarette and drank a beer to calm down then started making calls to friends with better tools than mine till i found 1 who could help
-
Thanks again guys and it should be pretty smooth sailing from here on out not a lot left to go either atleast till i find a trail/obstacle that gives me an excuse to go bigger
-
Ok i got the new plugs in luckily i was wrong and i only broke the ceramic so a little bit of wrenching with an easy out & I'm good to go
-
1 its all back road except for about a mile at most and short of putting it in 4x and tearing through the hay fields no way around it as i live on said highway (route 66) 2 yes he has done it before, has a shop with a/c, compressed air, and a fridge and if all else fails my dad who has close to 50 years experience under the hood is less than a mile away from there 3 i had planned to disconnected the injector and plug and finally 4 my father in law had to drive his truck close to 40 miles under the same conditions and didn't do any damage that we or the mechanics or dealership could see so that brings the confidence up but i at the same time i think he got lucky so wanted to get other opinions

this is a town where most ppl have never even seen a taxi

I effed up and stripped a plug ( got impatient stupid i know) Now i know how to fix it and can get it done problem is in order to get it fixed i have to get the pathfinder to a friends house about 15 miles away i have no truck or trailer and can't afford a wrecker and his truck is down right now so my question now is would it hurt it drive the 15 miles to get it fixed
-
This is why i love these formums i would have never thought of that
-

-

-
Yes I've been using plenty of anti seize something i doubt was done last time the plugs were changed IF they ever have wich from the condition of the 1s I've pulled i have to wonder atleast when they were done last
-
hmmm all the passenger side were pretty easy for me but the 1s on the driver's side were so stubborn i couldn't get em broke loose at all with a 18" breaker bar and a 24" cheater pipe
-
And i never thought bout 1 of those sockets with all the needles what ever they're actually called but I've kinda wanted to see how well they work for awhile now this may be the excuse i need
