  1. thanks, I made the owner an offer 2200....I am hopefull he takes it. He if he goes to 2700 I would pull the trigger. I do want to a body lift to get a tad more ground clearance. Prob just a 2" or maybe a 3". Kits seem to be pretty resonable. I do know he said it has one bad injector...so I will be watching that. RR
  2. Is it worth getting another set of OEM and having that feature? Or Bilsten 5100's or Rancho 9000XL's? BTW is the front shocks or a strut on an 93? Hard to tell.

Thanks P1....i don't know enough about Nissan to tell you what build date etc...and I don't have the truck here. this truck is a 2 owner...I would be 3, the 2nd and current owner has only had it for 5 months. Momma is making him sell it b.c he bought another car...he is a used car sales manager at a Nissan dealership and knows the orginal owner...all work performed at this dealership. Oh it has a new radiotor on it too but again, no one can tell me if they changed the timing belts....so that would be 2nd on my list... I may offer him 2500 for it...they are kind of hard to find around here. As for rust, I went under it...it looks like they used a lot of hyper dression on the undercarraige. It's really clean. Only rust I saw was on an aftermarket exhuast that was split into 2 after the cat. Seems odd to me and sounds really agressive, I would change that back to something more stock and tame as I want to hunt in this too. No need to tell all the critters I am coming down the trail. The truck felt squishy to me, I drove a 99 also today and it was super firm...so I am suspecting it needs new shocks all the way around... The "sport/tour" button did nothing. I don't know how to make that work with non OE shocks.
  4. Hello folks While I don't own a Patherfinder...I am trying to buy one and I have a few questions I could use some help with. Subject is a 1993 Pathfinder SE 4x4 170k miles. rebuilt tranny at 160K, not sure about timing belt but has new radiator too. (Prob due for timing belt) Truck feels a squishy and has some rattles, not a big deal but prob needs new shocks. It is an SE, has a button for Touring and Sport...can I make this work again our should I just put some Rancho 9000's on this and be done? Seat heater on drivers side doesn't work passenger side does...strange. I think it needs a lift, prob just a 2" or 3" body lift. One CV boot looks really greassy, not big deal. Any other gotchas I should look for? the guy wants 3K for the truck, I want to offer him 2700.00 I want to use as a daily driver to my miles off my King Ranch F250 but also use at the ranch and hunting lease. Could use some help here. Thanks RR
