    fuel injectors

yea I know my way around Ignacio, Red boy pizza! Ive shopped at the safeway there to. But alas met a gal from a small town in IOWA. Had a little girl and moved here. Its a change but I agree with you lifes as hectic as you make it.Hey you don't even pay for your gasoline out here until youve pumped it. Right ! When I first went up to pay first the guy looked at me like I was crazy.mayberry rfd.HA,ha!! Thanks PRECISE1
  17. Legal .smeagal it's all a state of mind if it works do it.I lived in california for years donated two cars because they could not pass smog. But here in midwest I swear i have seen people pouring smoke out of their tailpipes right in front of police and nothing comes of it.
  18. old welders trick is to remove tank empty all gas and fill with water weld away no danger at all.drain water dry out and your back in bussiness. man getting it off though is another matter I broke 3 bolts out of six had to drill out and use easy outs.replaced with all new bolts.
  19. I agree weather permitting I live in Iowa and winters can be rough. My 95 pathfinder has got 140,000 miles on the original timing belt. Crossing my fingers and knocking on wood.Plan to replace ASAP just got pathy In May 2012.
  20. Yea, hope the best for all of Colorado one of the worst years for fire Ive seen in a long time. good luck and god bless +
  21. Precise1, Just checking back, you said to remind you I just need one fuel injector with blue dot on the back of it.Can pay you some thing not a lot things a little tight these days Damm recession and can send you large envelope to mail it if you've still got one.Let me know one way or the other.Much thanks.jack
  22. Thank's I was wondering what the heck that plastic pipe was for as it seemed to sit there doing nothing I thought it was for better air flow but that it was missing a piece.Ha,Ha,learn something new everyday. I plan to lose it tomorrow. Thanks again! You guys are great.
  23. thanks again trogdor636.you have been a great help from day one of this.Seriously BIG THANK'S.
  24. well i own a 1995 xe and believe it or not i jacked up rear end and spun wheel they both turned so thats a big yes I have a limited slip differential,Then the crappy 2 ton floor jack I was useing bent under the weight. I know two tons is 2000lbs and the pathy is at least 3500lbs. but all i had at the time and i had to know.no harm no foul and i know better than to be underneath a vehicle with out jack stands.
  25. Well, here's the latest on my little problem. Quick update got a code 51 checked fuel injectors ohm's all at 12 except for number FIVE cylinder it read at 35 ohm's checked wiring harness to injector's all good then took out passenger seat and checked ecu circuts to injectors all read good continuity .checked fusible links everything seem's to be pointing at a bad injector #5 CYL. It's gotta be on the way out.I took a mirror and flashlight and the color on the back of injector is blue.So I will be replacing with same color as I have heard that it makes a big difference.Going to check local junk yard first as I am not made of money. They have one 1992 pathfinder so I am hopeing no one's got to the injectors yet and that they are blue coded. Can you believe that 3 junk yards in area and only one pathy and a couple of nissan trucks.Big shout out to all who joined in on this topic got a lot of positive feed back and excelent ideas.on what to do.precise1 thanks again wow 3 pathfinders I am impressed.I may pick up another just for the extra part's HA,HA!!
