  1. When my negative battery terminal was cracked and loose I had exactly the same problem. Like has been suggested above, check the battery terminals for looseness or corrosion.
  2. What part of Alabama are you in? There's a junkyard near me that has a couple HBs and pathys. There are also several of each at the pull a part in montgomery. I'm in the southeast near Troy and enterprise.
  3. I've never seen black, but you left tan off that list. I can't remember the color code for it. I will get the light gray sample to send in since I will be getting light gray for mine.
  4. I thought it was odd that you were saying there is no relay so I looked at the FSM again, apparently the Canadian models don't have a relay but the US models do......at least for the 95 year. I wonder why they did that?
  5. If you have 12vdc on the solenoid wire (black/yellow?) then there is no need to bypass the ignition or relays. If you've run a new power wire from the battery to the starter. You should do what was suggested above and look at the negative battery cable, look at the strap that grounds the engine to the body as well. It could just be loose, or could be heavily corroded and need replacing.
  6. The one I replaced was on my dad's 95 HB. Has 281k on it. It wasn't leaking after all those miles! It was the back of the oil pan leaking but we replaced it since we were there and had already bought it.
  7. Autozone calls it the rear main seal. I put one on just yesterday.
  8. I don't, but nico has them http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/pathfinder/
  9. I've got some stuff for a 95 pathfinder, but nothing newer
  10. I've been wanting to do the floor of my shop but just can't bring myself to dump 6-800 on it yet.
  11. I left you a reply over at infamous, but there are a lot more canadian owners here so they may be able to confirm how the DRL should properly operate. Guys, what i told him over there was that the FSM for a 97 HB explains that the DRL should be off if you crank the truck with the parking brake on. But once you release the brake the should come on and stay on regardless of the parking brake. And of course normal headlights override the DRL. I don't have an FSM for a 93, but on a 90, it makes no mention of the parking brake and it isn't in the wiring diagram. Is the parking brake function common to all years or did they add that at some point? It seems to me like his problem is actually with the passenger headlight NOT turning on with the DRL so the drivers headlight is getting the full 12vdc instead of splitting it with the passenger side.
  12. Any of the hardbody buckets will bolt right up as will the wd21s. The frontier I'm not sure about but they should be pretty close. You can make anything fit with a welder.
  13. The missing paint under the master cylinder is a tell tale sign of a leaking master cylinder. Of course if no fluid it present, it could have been replaced by a previous owner.
  14. He has a truck. Most of them came with 4" speakers mounted on a metal bracket. That metal bracket has 3 holes that mount to the door. The speaker opening on the trucks is round, whereas the opening on the pathfinder is somewhat oval shaped. My advice is to just drill the holes. The window crank has a wire clip holding it on the shaft. You can remove it with a pick, screwdriver or a rag (I've been told). It has an open end and a closed end. Grab the closed end and pull it straight out. The handle has a trim ring that snaps off to get the panel off, the handle stays on the door. The lock knob just unscrews. The arm rest has 2 screws.
  15. I was hoping that's what he meant. So, where do we send the money?
  16. The others on the website are black
  17. I'm thinking we need to get them without the tweeter. If they're not gonna make the tweeter match the factory tweeter grill there's really no point in having them cut a hole. They could leave it blank and let you cut your own hole if you want one.
  18. I'm in for whatever. I think the cost is excessive though. For $50 you'd think that would include the color. I'm still a yes.
  19. The trim code will be in the door jamb on a truck and under the hood of a pathfinder on the passenger fender well. Yours will be "K". But there are about 3 different shades of gray that have trim code K. We could use one of the brown/gray samples, we just need to make sure it matches the A pillars. I need to get a light gray sample that matches my truck, but the only way I see to get a 4x4 sample is to use a piece of the plastic from the extended cab part and cut it up.
  20. No problem guys, I'm glad I could contribute to making this happen. Now we just need to gather up some more samples. I labeled the ones I sent as being for 86 1/2-97 Nissan pickup and 87-95 Nissan pathfinder.
  21. 92 wiring is clearly not the same as the newer stuff i have saved on my phone. The joint connectors I've dealt with are under the dash on the sides above the kick panels. They go through the cab to the inner fender and forward to the engine. If you take the plastic fender well liner off you should be able to get to the outside half. You may have to stand on your head to get to the inside half.
