  1. Are the A pillars lighter blue than the dash?
  2. We may have to use the year models to differentiate. Do we know if the 94-95 pathfinders were all dark gray? I'm pretty sure the 94+ HBs were all light gray. My 89 was green/gray. I'll ask on infamous and see what color everybody has and what year to see if we can nail it down. Additionally, in the trucks with vinyl headliners the A pillar trim was shaped differently. It seems like there might also be a difference in the regular cab trucks with the hard headliner. Also, I believe the pathfinders use color code R for red interiors. Can anyone verify this?
  3. Ok, I went to the junkyard today and was able to get 3 color samples. Blue (code B ) Red (code A) and Dark Gray (code K). The pillar trim I'm sending is the dark gray shade as well. The pillar trim in both of my trucks is light gray, but the trim code is still K. I noticed that in both of the pathfinders (94-95)with trim code K the pillars and headliner trim are dark. In the 94+ trucks with code K, the lower part of the interior is dark while the upper part is light. The trim colors that we still need are tan and light gray. I can go back and get a fuse door for one of the older gray/green/brown whatever that color was.
  4. Are you sure 1 & 3 aren't black/yellow? According to the diagram I have they should be. #5 should be the black/pink wire that goes to the starter. The likely reason why the wires in 1 & 3 are larger could be the length of the wire.
  5. None of the wiring diagrams I have show a brown wire on the clutch interlock relay. I've looked at several from different years, trucks and 1994 pathfinder. They all have 2 black/yellow wires that get 12vdc from the ignition switch in the start position. One black/pink wire that provides 12vdc to the starter. And one blue/green wire that provides ground to the relay whenever the clutch is depressed. Jumping the black/pink wire with one of the black/yellow wires should allow it to start by turning the key and eliminates the clutch switch and relay.
  6. What are the wire colors on the relay? The pathfinder diagram I have is crappy, I wanna compare it to the HB diagram I have.
  7. My wife is an agent, so I've asked her tons of questions about this sort of thing. You can add modifications to your policy and they will cover them. Obviously, it will cost a little more, but that's to be expected. Why would they pay you $7000 for a $3000 vehicle? You might need receipts to prove you purchased the stuff. They might want to take pictures of it. They might want serial numbers if it is the type of thing that would have a serial number, like stereo equipment. Is it worth it? To me it depends on how much you've spent on stuff. My stereo stuff is covered. When I was much younger I really worried about my truck getting broken into and my stereo equipment getting stolen. Once it was added on to my policy and I knew it was gonna get replaced it was worth every penny for the peace of mind it gave me. I did specifically ask her if I spent $1000 on a lift kit and added it to the policy would it be covered if it were wrecked and she said yes it would be. Of course I had to explain that it was a hypothetical question and I did not intend to spend $1000 on a lift kit lol.
  8. ok dowser, i'll hold off on shipping it and see how many of the color samples i can grab from the junkyard here.
  9. http://www.streetsource.com/forum/121222_1_Nissan-Trucks-86-1-2-to-97-Hardbody-86-1-2-to-95-Pathfinder-pillar-pod-group-order.html
  10. I plan to ship mine Monday, it will get there from here much more quickly than from Canada.....and cheaper as well. Precise1, my name is Kelyn, but on forums most people just shorten my screen name and refer to me as bama. I plan on spending a little more time here. I know nothing about 4wds, in fact, when I bought my pathfinder about 4 years ago I had to have a friend show me how to engage the 4wd when I got it home. I am, however, pretty damn good with electrical stuff so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for those threads. We can try posting this over on street source. I am a registered user, but almost never visit there. I'll see if we can get any interest there.
  11. Dowser, I have a spare with tweeter sitting on my desk right now and a box in the shop I can ship it in. Do I ship it to Lo-Tek Inc. 715 - C2 East Geer Street Durham, NC 27701
  12. Oh no, I certainly won't paint everybody with the same brush...heck I own more 4wd Nissans than I do 2wd. I think I have an A pillar with a tweeter in the garage if one is needed.
  13. Have you posted this over at the forums on 4x4parts.com? They have some Nissan people there.
  14. Do you know if these will remain available for individual purchase after the initial run?
  15. I'm in for one. I don't NEED one for any specific reason at this point, but I may in the future. I've been around Nissans for about 15 years and have seen a lot of guys looking for one in that time. So if me getting one helps get this done so that they are available in the future, I'm all for it. That's a pretty unfair generalization. I've been an administrator there since we all migrated from another site that the previous owner stopped maintaining. As well as a few incarnations prior to that site. We strive to eliminate the flaming that goes unchecked on a lot of other forums. I'm not sure why you think there are "a lot of jerks" on infamous nissan, I'm not sure if you have had a bad experience there or not, but most of our members go out of their way to be helpful. Furthermore, I urge you to remember that some of the modifications you might choose to make to your vehicle might seems pointless or wasteful to others. While I have a couple of mostly stock Nissan 4x4's I certainly don't begrudge anyone who chooses to modify theirs in whatever way they see fit. I don't have to think that it is something i would want for my truck in order to appreciate their enthusiasm and workmanship.
