  1. My Terrano has this "indicator" not a button but I've never seen it on, is this from the factory alarm? Thanks for the help.
  2. Yes it's close, one hour or so drive, north from here and a very beautyful place and to go wheeling. Let me know when you come to Portugal.
  3. That is a great info, now I can plan things... Thanks. From Oporto (Porto) city. The land of the internationally known Porto Wine. You know Portugal?
  4. I made mine, took a L shaped aluminium profil and bolted on the sides, then I measured and cutted 2 boards from a marine wood and covered (glued) it with black "carpet" also made the holes for the speakers. Now I'm thinking on trying to adapt the R50 cargo cover and getting the speakers on the ceilling (working on it, now) for a better access to the trunk, I use it a lot and it's not pratical to keep taking the "shelfs" off and on. My problem is that I don't have the R50 here , so I don't know if they have the necessary measures to adapt...
  5. Nop, not on my case it wasn't. That I'm sure.
  6. Compression rod?.... translating to english is a problem now We just call it rod brushings... I don't know "compression rod"... it could be it, next to the tires and brakes. Didn't help, did I?
  7. I had the same issues and the bushings were the problem.
  8. I don't mind the winter, only have heavy rain and strong wind at the most and then I only have to drive slower as there are many stone pavement streets and tends to get really slippery.
  9. If it wasn't for eBay I wouldn't have bought the parts for my Terrano at a fair price or wouldn't have bought them at all. As far as my experience goes (some years, now) I LOVE EBAY. Had a bad deal, too, and also turned out great, just have to have everything documented and as for the parts, you have to be sure that that is what you need without a doubt.
  10. Ahhh, ok. Just never seen a 2.7TD (like mine) with an auto...
  11. Thanks for the info. I think there are Terrano's with a 2.4L...
  12. What's a KA? Why would anyone want to change a manual transmition for an automatic? I don't think it's a good idea...
  13. I just got my map light and I was wondering how to do just that. Thanks for write up, perfect timing for me. I'm going to change the bulbs for blue led's to match the dome light, do you still recomend the relay's? in this case the led's don't need that much power...
  14. I would love to get my Terrano upstairs... Will these make the Terrano lose his confort? I don't want that to happen, what do you say? Make him taller will, no matter which way, get it harder?
  15. That is one hell of a project. Where are the updates? how is that coming?
  16. What a project, wow. Here in Portugal, theres a guy that did shorten a 4 door, like the one you posted at the beggining, only seen it in photos on the web... Yours is going to be a lot better or nicer to see and to see the progress. Keep us updated, please and the good work.
  17. That thing is hideous and stupid concept. I don't anything to worry, it won't be getting to Portugal, anyway.
  18. Wow, I though here (Portugal) or Europe was expensive... and not everywhere
  19. That was really lucky, although I found my shade some years ago, it was hard. I though by now it would be almost impossible. Good luck getting the rest.
  20. Oh, OK. Just that the idler arm brace looks weaker than Calmini's (also the price), but if it's the same... but I see that Calmini's give some problems.
